The sociological imagination enables us to think about the relationship between biography and history within the society. It is the ability to see a ‘big photo’ about everyday phenomena, which means that we think ourselves away from the daily routines, and therefore understanding the everyday practices as a wider social issue rather than just personal matters when they become common practices (Mills, 1959). I have selected the photograph of the smart phone. The use of smart phones has become widespread over the past decade (Al-Khlaiwi & Meo, 2004). Bond (2010) revealed that children thought that allowing their friends to view their personal mobile phone content promoted sense of closeness. Mobile phone content could only be allow to share with close friends who were intimate and trustworthy because sharing was a sign of mutual revelation between children and their friends. Sharing played an important role in maintaining close friendships and be viewed as an emblematic part in creating and preserving a paired identity or shared group. Children used their willingness to disclose their phone content to distinguish between close friends, normal friend and not friends. The smart phone, with the content inside, was a method to facilitate closeness and intimacy, which were important to maintain a dynamic relationship. On the other hand, some children admitted that they used smart phones to hurt or bully others. Because of smart phones, bullying behaviors were no longer restricted in public space but in everywhere at any time. Much more children had revealed that they were victims of the bullying behaviors, for instance they would receive spiteful messages, prank calls and weird phone calls. For the victims, smart phones have become menace, intimidation and threats. Hence, although smart phone was an important device to develop identity and foster social group cohesion, it prevented children outside from bonded friendship groups and caused anxiety by bullying using smart
