I have to say that these past eight weeks have been an incredible journey for me in this class. It 's amazing looking at the different perspectives on mindfulness and piecing the puzzles together. Do I feel that paying attention to your own moral code makes you a happier person? Absolutely. It 's a must for everyone. We definitely need to recognize our own perception towards reality on both an individual and universal level. Educating ourselves is key to this I believe, to be open minded rather than set on a particular way can help us create a positive change.

Again, human inner values verses materialistic values for the good of both self and mankind. I refer to them as being self-less values verses the selfish values. This is the confidence verses fear Mr. Lama explained in his video. He also explains the effects of good inner values of man can influence his health, family, society, and so forth where man is globally responsible for not only himself, but the world to be and do good in order to avoid self and universal corruption (Television, …show more content…

Mr. Lama states that, proper moral ethics on a universal level doesn 't more so bother people based on religious matters, but bothered about humanity more in a secular way on ethics. He describes the true idea on the meaning of the term secular is out of respect to all religions, and that secular ethics is based upon a human compassion for a universal secular way on understanding the human inner value (Television, 2009). Each of these men teaches us that inner value and the importance of self-reflection and having a healthy mind, and the century of dialogue is to have mindfulness rather than being aggressive in dialogue (to which both my parents were aggressive). Thus, the healthy internal mental states can create healthy external motivations and actions overall (Television, 2009). And because we are all interconnected as Mr. Lama explains, we must find peaceful solutions towards the world 's problems and recognize such dialogue on a healthy level the reality of things; and have an understanding towards the different perspectives or dimensions with an unbiased nature (Which I have learned over time). This is where I stress the importance of being knowledgeable about one 's mind and about the world and educating oneself being a key importance. It is the repetitions on understanding such teachings that can help people not only better themselves, but the world. When
