Reflection of the Civil Fight Martin Luther King, Jr. fought a battle of civil rights that he so strongly believed in that he became more understanding of how the world works around every human that dares to look for life, freedom, and justice. The following article Impasse in Race Relations is more than a cry for help for the African Americans left to perish under a country that hates them. The minority themselves are and will always be in danger of being overlooked because the majority sees a brighter future without them. In order for this system to continue working like our early found fathers intended for; the weak must rise to become just with everyone who has looked down upon them. This is my thesis after having a clear and shocking realization that King lived to empower all that need the courage to stand brave. Fight for who the world says a person can not be so that the world will overcome its own ignorant views. I am a caucasian male who owns land and would have been at the top of any class system over two hundred years ago but I can not fathom if my views were to be different than what I believe in now. Dr. King points out a hard truth in every sentence that myself agrees with. His arguments all are cogent on the level of what should be a simple human right. My only difficulty subject is the welfare given to able bodied people. In his exact words “We are demanding an emergency program to provide employment for everyone in need of a job or, if a work program is impracticable, a guaranteed annual income at levels that sustain life in decent circumstances”(King).
