When it is finished being inspected the market or other distributors ship out the products to the ending location. Another committee is the Florida Tomatoes Committee; it funds research, the development of projects and marketing promotions to help maximize the Florida tomato movement. They are committed to a higher standard of growing tomatoes with an emphasis on food safety and social and environmental responsibility. While there are slight differences in some of the regulations for foreign and domestic markets, Florida tomatoes adhere to a set of standards for size, shape, just like the Red Tomato Company.
