The Recent Challenges That UAE Health Care System Facing The UAE health care system is one of the important organizations in the country with a high standard, goals and programs. Since 1990, UAE had a new modern healthcare system with more facilities and a lot of professional physicians. The modern system is able to solve many challenges that were in the past such as the small number of hospitals, doctors and hospital beds. However, the improvement of the health care system is clearly shown in the result of many surveys such as the life expectancy, which show that the life expectancy in 2012 was 76.57 while in 1967 was 58.58. According to Abu Dubai health authority the number of Emaratis sent abroad for health care in 2010 was 2,858 patients ("Emirates abroad," 2011). If the number of travels patients remained like this it could affect the health care system in many ways. Such as, it will decrease the confindaillty between residents and the health care system, doctors won't be professional because the small number of patients don't allow them to gain experience and the budget for the medical field in the country will be focusing on sending patients abroad instead of improving the medical services. UAE spends more than 2 billion dollars per year in sending residents for overseas treatment ("Emirates abroad," 2011). In addiion,The following reason is the common among patients who prefer abroad healthcare, which is the country disability to treat certain diseases such as rare cases of cancer, cardiovascular disease, Bones and joint diseases, Ophthalmology and Neurosurgery(Goel, 2013).UAE healthcare system is trying to reduce the number of the patients who travelled abroad by adapting solutions such as trying to improve the Dubai healthcare city, international free zone,advanced and private hospital with international- standers, also by trying to inform healthcare staffs about focusing on providing the best care for patients, furthermore, trying to provide patients with the new medical technology that the country provides so residents would be aknowledg of the development in the medical
