The purpose when it comes to writing is understanding many things about the topic and also knowing about the task, audience, and the goals the writer wants to accomplish. The task of writing could vary from entertaining, persuading or even to inform the audience whom the writer is composing for. The next purpose of writing is the audience someone is writing for and how they affect how something is written. Understand who the audience is, what the audience is expecting to know, and also be aware of what the audience already knows. Another purpose could be what the goals of a writer has in mind to accomplish when writing and how the writer wants the audience to think or feel about the topic. Also the writer should have in mind how they want the audience to feel and learn about the given information and what they will get out of it.
Audience greatly influences the way someone writes and what they write about, the reason it changes how someone writes depends on the audience reading the material, if they already know about the topic the writer does not have to go into as much detail. It is important to understand what the audience is expecting from the writer and what the audience is expecting to learn. When someone writes for a specific person the style of writing will change depending who will receive the written material, their style of writing could be formal or informal. Appealing to the audience and knowing how to effectively deliver the material is needed, but first one needs to know more about the audience. It is also important to identify the audience you are writing for, knowing the people and what their interests, demographic life, and their political circumstances which will effectively help the writer know how t...

... difficult because this also influences the way you should present your written information, if you would need media and if you do how that should be designed.
A weakness of mine when writing is I often lack a hook or having an interesting opening and closing sentence, I feel my sentences get too wordy and my sentences lack vivid detailing. Sometimes organizing my written paper can also be a weakness of mine, especially when there is an essay that asks to compare and contrast. Thinking how I want to start an introductory paragraph and thesis statement is where I have the most trouble and sometimes can be challenging to me. Some strengths I have is that I often try to have a variety of different words so they aren 't overused and using a strong vocabulary. Lastly, another strength I have is I can gather a lot of information and write about a vast amount of topics.
These strengths and weaknesses were mainly discovered through the papers that we have written. I have many strengths when I’m writing papers and at the same time, I have many weaknesses. In my papers, I have noticed that one of my biggest strengths is how articulate I am. The papers that have been written by myself show that I structured sentences to present ideas in different ways. It is not straightforward and boring when ideas are presented. I like to keep the reader hooked on my paper. In order to keep up with this strength, I like to read articles. The articles I read are typically the ones that present new ideas or start arguments. This is one of my strengths that I am very proud
There are various ways writers can evaluate their techniques applied in writing. The genre of writing about writing can be approached in various ways – from a process paper to sharing personal experience. The elements that go into this specific genre include answers to the five most important questions who, what, where, and why they write. Anne Lamott, Junot Diaz, Kent Haruf, and Susan Sontag discuss these ideas in their individual investigations. These authors create different experiences for the reader, but these same themes emerge: fears of failing, personal feelings toward writing, and most importantly personal insight on the importance of writing and what works and does not work in their writing procedures.
The weakness I portray are very difficult for me to think of. I know that I have quite a few but to change them is something that I have not full conquered yet. A weakness I know I have is sentence structure. I am not very good at putting sentences together and making them strong and well developed. Another weakness that is obvious is word choice. I don't always know the exact wording to use in different parts of a paper, this makes it hard to understand sometimes not very well written.
Some of my weaknesses are procrastination and impatience, but I am taking proactive measures to resolve these issues. I have started putting reminders on my phone that helps me to remember when I need to start working. This will also help me keep my time spread out so that way if I get impatient with my computer or I can’t think of anything then I have time to take a break and think. Some of my strengths are my determination, my easy going nature and getting along with other people. (Even when no one else seems to get along with that person.) I also try to keep a positive attitude whenever times are getting stressful and it seems impossible to get what needs to be done accomplished.
Over my career of schooling my writing has changed dramatically at times and very little at others. Through my years of schooling people have determined my main weaknesses and strengths that I should work on with my writing. My biggest weakness is writing introductions and conclusions they must be so complicated and require so much thought to be defined as good. I excel at writing body paragraphs and explaining all the facts that back up your main ideas though.
My personal strengths are that I read and remember things well from most sources. I can process new information easily which helps with various forms of math and science. However, I also possess several weaknesses. I sometimes shy

Whether it is how I want to put it or not being able to use correct vocabulary to disperse my thoughts to my audience. Another weakness I have is the organization of my paper. I write as I think and sometimes my thoughts may be all over the place. After I have completed a paper, I go back and reread it a couple of times and realize that what I said at times makes no sense because my information is scattered around. I have trouble structuring my sentences to transition well to introduce my next thought or
Writing and reading are two essential skills that we need to have in order to succeed in any field of study that we have chosen. Without these two we would not be here, wouldn’t be writing right now and would be considered the lowest class of our society. There are different aspects of writing that each of us may, or may not, excel at. Some of us are creative enough to write short stories or even novels on fiction while others, like me, are better at writing essays. To accomplish this we have all had a person to inspire us, to drive us, to get us over the hump of confidence that we need to succeed. Still to be successful we need to count on ourselves to succeed.
Mina Loy in “Feminist Manifesto” seeks an individual female identify free from the masculine. The three most important characteristics in her writing promote individual freedom, women roles, and feminine status. Loy, in her manifesto seems to choose a destructive path against the man and female in a struggle power of one another. She states in the beginning that women are not equal to men. “be brave & deny at the outset-that pathetic clap-trap war cry woman is the equal of man-she is not” (Loy, 2013, p.1981). She argues that men and women are enemies “the only point at which the interests of the sexes merge-is the sexual embrace” (Loy, 2013, p. 1982). Relationships between men and woman require sharing, but Loy dismisses men by stating women must “seek within yourselves to find out what you are” (Loy, 2013, p. 1982). Women need to find themselves before successfully having a relationship with a man. This would be necessary for the relationship to grow and nurture. Loy states “to obtain results you must make sacrifices” (Loy, 2013. p. 1982). However, making these sacrifices does not r...
In this paper, I am to write about my strengths and weaknesses in writing. This is not an easy task for me because I have never considered myself a writer. Reading other peoples thoughts are activities that are more my speed. I simply have trouble putting my thoughts into writing. Since, I do not feel that I have many strengths, let's move on to my weaknesses.
As a student, I feel that I have many writing weaknesses. I know that on my own, and because teachers have told me so. Some of the complications I face with writing is not using enough body paragraphs, forgetting a thesis statement, lack of word choice, punctuation errors, and etc. I am unaware at times of my mistakes, but I always try to correct them.
One strength I had was the organization of the essay. My sentences I wrote were not all over the place each paragraph talks about one topic. One weakness I had with writing this essay was my writing style. I noticed that in this essay my writing style was a bit choppy. I should have read my essay out loud to see if it had a good flow between my ideas.
