Reflection On English Composition 101

This semester in english composition 101 we have learned many techniques to master the writing process. From the first day I walked into the class I definitely feel that techniques and goals that were set definitely have been accomplished. Peer editing to the workshops and many more activities done in class is what 's made my writing skills improve. The larger idea that i 'm taking from english composition 101 is the importance of the significant steps in the writing process. Having the opportunity of getting feedback from the peer reviews. One of a couple of workshops that stood out to me was learning about the paragraph organization in a paper. The reasoning is to show how through all the writing process in the papers written in class has made my writing style improve. Now that the semester is coming to end i 'm coming to realize that my writing represents an argument that I stand for and defend with evidence to prove my point.
One of the couple of reasons I feel that my writing style has improved has been the way I revise my work now compared to beginning of the semester. In other classes I had taken in high school we were assigned a topic to write about, and had a certain date it was due. The teacher would tell us to write the paper and revise it ourselves; occasionally the teachers would revise it for us, if we needed it but that wasn 't always the case. The main difference that composition 101 has developped on my writing style is the revision of my papers in class. Since all the writing 's are on the same topic it made it easy to discuss and ask questions we had on the essay prompt.
