Should U.S have free health care system
In this paper, there are 6 sources that have been referred to and explained to reach the consensus on this essay’s thesis statement. The essay thesis statement lies in exploring whether U.S should provide free health care system wherein each individual’s health care need is met without the requirement for capital (Cutler et al 3-25). There is no doubt on the perspective that as per universal American law, American people have the right to free health care. It is alright when the government says that people should work and they will have to provide taxes but when one gets unwell and cannot care for their own selves, then it is essential for the government to step in and do the needful. The control of American currency is the responsibility of the government and their federal reserve’s department with the ability of providing and printing money as needed just as the Pell Grant. However, the costs in the health care industry have been on a rise with lesser and lesser individuals having the capability or the income to get their treatment done properly. This paper has undertaken 6 articles that refer to the essay thesis statement in order to outline the key distinct perspectives.
According to the first article, “should the government provide free universal healthcare for all persons from America”, the author clearly argued that living the greatest nation of the world gets saddening when each person does not have access to affordable or free health care. Certain individuals possess insurance while others are helped by the government. On the other hand there are people who need work in a rigorous way so that they can get access to health care but this is in vain as the costs are too high (McNutt 1...

However, the process is slow and still not much benefit has been gained. It is essential to look at some of the key characteristics of US health care industry. The true perspective is that most reforms influence only a small health insurance market. Even though U.S has larger uninsured residents number, most of the people are covered and approximately everyone has the same kind of coverage for insurance. So, health insurance comes mostly from Medicare, Military, Medicaid, Sponsored by Employer (48.4 percent), direct purchasers and uninsured as per the data by U.S Census Bureau (Terhune 400).
