Many people are against marijuana and others are for medical marijuana. This article is about the medical uses of marijuana (cannabis), and why marijuana should be legalized for medical use. The cannabis plant has a history of medicinal use dating back thousands of years across many cultures. Smoking marijuana has its good and bad side but really it should be use to help the sick patients around the world. For example, smoking marijuana has many affects and can lead to memory loss but medical marijuana can cure cancer patients.
One of the chemicals found in marijuana is called the THC (synthetic THC) light resinous oil found in marijuana and it is believed to be responsible for most of the characteristic psychoactive effects of cannabis. THC receptors actually can lead to increase a production of neurotransmitters that make people feel better. Neurotransmitters are the brain chemicals that communicate information throughout our brain and body. THC also increased the risk of developing bacterial infections and tumors.
