The psychological imprint of discrimination toward multicores has been seen in North America started from early in the construction till today. Today environment, discrimination toward a particular group may be overt and sometimes blatantly obvious to others while the person who is doing the action seemed to be oblivious to their own action. One can conclude, it is a sense of insecure from the perpetrator part to engage in such behavior. Moreover, a study of integration shows a balance between dominant country and maintain a positive links with the heritage culture (Taylor & Karchanoff, 2015, p549). It was found that the new arrival has had conflict of integration with the minority group.
The dilemma for a new immigrant is to balance adapting to a dominant culture. Experts have come up with a theory where distance and conflict has been dissected. The conflicts is between a servant and dominant culture. “Specifically, we need to appreciate that the cultural groups that contribute to a community’s diversity are not only distinct, but they can be ranked vertically in terms of power and status (Taylor & Karchanoff, 2015, p549). In addition, a vertical multiculturalism tends to focus disadvantage communities. The communities face social challenges underemployment, alcoholism, drug abuse, health issues, and academic underachievement (Taylor & Karchanoff, 2015, p549).
Education has been apart helping underprivileged individual to get ahead in life. Often those who have made it out low income area have used education to move up in life. The opposite can be said when opportunity is not available, it could be a dire situation. Moreover, adding a new culture with a language barrier does not allowed an easy path for success. Also...

In addition, the assimilation of any foreign plays a part on the earning they will accrue for a short period time and in a lifetime. In the same token, the language barrier has to be approached in another to learn to assimilate to the culture ways in another to improve earning and gained acceptance from the new county.
On other perspective, there are some ethnic groups who have remain in isolated area where they have found success within the communities. For example, Chinese it has immigrated through the United States
