The Pros of Animal Experimentation

Since 300 B.C., animal testing has been happening all over the world. As time has drawn on, people have made this a huge controversial topic and have debated whether or not animal experimentation is acceptable or not acceptable in today’s society. With everything progressing around us, what effect would animal experimentation have on the United States? In fact, scratch that and instead ask this question instead: what would the effects of animal experimentation be globally? Animal experimentation has the power to save lives and benefits we may need in our futures.

Before anything else, you should have an idea as to what animal experimentation is. Animal experimentation is the act of messing with the genes of animals and sometimes even testing things on them such as medications and cosmetics and things like that. There’s several different types of animal experimentation that can be done. Experimentation on the animals is supported by different parties depending on the measure that’s being taken. For cosmetics, many companies such as those that provide cosmetics use animal testing and openly admit to doing so. The extremes can range from being vague to quite complicated. These can also consist of things that can change the world positively and then change again to be something terribly negative. The range for it’s being is quite unlimited with the options.

A lot of people say that animal experimentation is purposeless because of the fact that it is done on animals and not actual humans. The definition of an animal to them is something that has fur, feathers, or scales. To some degree that is accurate, in fact it’s completely accurate. ...d. The size contrast and the two appearances differ greatly. The fact that I’m not really bothered by animals being killed for food is something that I am guilty of also and have been for quite sometime.

The perspective of animal experimentation will remain controversial for probably a long long time no matter what great advancements come from it and no matter what people continue to feed the idea of supporting it. In a science standpoint of view, we may come up with new ways to experiment on animals that aren’t incredibly harmful to them or may not even have to be done on them. Until then though, animal experimentation will be used as a silent hero continuing to help people through and making advancements. Even through the bad and the ugly, think about how some of the greatest things to come into our lives have had some of the harshest consequences that followed it.
