There are about two thousand skate parks in the whole United States, and in contrast to this there are approximately thirteen-million skateboarders in the U.S alone. These are really shocking numbers that the average everyday person wouldn’t know, or care about. But when one of the thirteen million skaters who don’t have a place to skate come and skates in front of their store, suddenly they care. In Nacogdoches this is a real problem, and I have personally observed skaters getting told to leave someplace time and time again. The reason of this problem is that there is no designated place to skateboard in Nacogdoches, such as a skate park. Skaters have a tendency to find one particular place they like, and once they find this place they will skate it a lot. And something everyone knows about the excessive use of things is, whether you like it or not at some point in the process of skating something; somewhere, get broke.
There has never been any attempt, whatsoever to get a skate park here in Nacogdoches. This is the reason why there are so many skaters out at night skateboarding on the public sidewalks. This is also presents a problem for the police because there are many places that are great for skating, but are restricted by city ordinances. However, there is always some zealous skater who will brave it and end up getting hurt, or worst end up in jail. Most police put skater under a stereotype, where they assume all skaters are punks. Needless to say this is wrong, there are many skaters who may not have done anything wrong, but because there a skater the police force their authoritarian will upon them. To people who skate it’s just as much a sport to them as football, basketball or basket ball is to others. ...

Skate boarding is a popular sport amongst today’s modern teens; it provides them with a sport other than the conventional everyday sports as was mentioned earlier. If there was to be a skate park here in town it would give the local skaters a feeling of acceptance, as well as let them know that their talents do not go unheard. A park pacifically made for skaters would give the skate boarders of our community a sense of ownership, as well as pride for the park. I n conclusion, I think that the idea of a skate park would dramatically increase the acceptance of the skaters in the community. Along with this it would adequately relieve many of the undesired results that arise due to the lack of a skate park, in addition to this it would help skaters to use their amazing talents to prosper.

Gage Park is number sixty-three of seventy-seven neighborhoods that make up the city of Chicago. According to the Chicago Park District (2014), the Gage Park area received its name in honor of Commissioner George Gage who was a respected prominent business man and attorney in the late 1870’s. Located on the southwest side of Chicago; Gage Park is a community that is known for its cultural history and diversity over the years. Many different races have lived in this community from the time it was developed, and this trend continues to evolve. As mentioned in the Encyclopedia of Chicago (2005), the Germans first settled in Gage Park in mid-1800s. Later in the 1920’s, the area became populated with the Polish population who migrated for employment.

People who would benifit from the park, have many ideals why this would be great not just for dogs, but for the city. By having a dog park is important for dogs health. Just by letting them off the leash, the can run and play. This also teaches the dogs to interact more with each other instead of barking like crazy when they are on the leash, which can disturb city residents. With all the great things of having a dog park there are some negitives.
If there was a dog park, property values would most definitely go up. The community should try to make every resident happy where they live. Some cat owners don't feel dog owners should be able to get a dog park since they themselves are not asking for a place to bring their cats. Cats are more of indoor animals and they don't need as much attention and exercise as dogs. Cats don't need wide open spaces to play around in. People feel as though they are being treated unfairly due to the lack of yard space and areas for their pets to roam around
While the slogan has great meaning of being the place where we create skateboarding with passion, I believe we can change it slightly to have a pathetic approach towards people. By adding “For Skaters everywhere” in the slogan, it makes the skaters the center of attention and shows how valuable they are to us, making them feel like they are important. Also, by adding that quote we also target many other demographic from age, gender, and race so that nobody will be left out. This is good because we want everyone to feel important when they own a Duster Board and be included in the community. With a slight change to the slogan, we can now express how important everyone is when we make Duster
Although people who are opposed to the dog park because of possible noise issues, should consider that dogs will bark and become aggressive in their homes, and this is more of a community neusance.
This can be extrapolated to a community service as a recreational activity, where people have to interact and that way the life of a city becomes more outgoing. A dog park can be a good experience for dogs because they can feel the relaxing place where they do not have to use a leash, so they are free to move wherever they feel like inside the park. This situation can be helpful to the people, since they are free of worries of their dogs because a big, closed pet-friendly place would give them the confidence that there are no hazards, like vehicles, or any damage to the dog. Also, a dog park in the city would help to create friendship and an identity of community since dog owners do not have to go to other cities to enjoy these kind of parks. Instead, they can be part of an identity and recognize themselves in their own city.
What would this much needed facility provide for Smallville? The Bigtown Recreation Center is a great model for Smallville, housing several basketball courts, tennis courts, a weight room, and a swimming pool. The programs conducted at the center include athletic clinics in the summer, swimming, basketball, and tennis lessons, and even fitness training and aerobics. These are all activities nearly every citizen can enjoy. So, if Smallville had a similar recreation center it would benefit the young and old alike. However, our recreation center should provide programs specifically for children and teenagers. Aside from just providing athletic and sports recreation for the youth, we should also provide them with tutoring services, a game room and a lounge were they can just "hang out."

The primary issue with the company is that it was designed without a critical consideration for growth and this has led to internal issues such as lack of direction and inappropriate staffing.
