The Prometheus Radio Project website (http://hzi.mytravel.com/m2l) defined recreational drug use as the use of psychoactive drugs to change one 's mental state such that it modifies emotions, perceptions, and feelings for recreational purposes. It is believed that people use recreational drugs to induce feelings of relaxation, calmness and a to also create a state of alertness and increase energy boost. Recreational drugs ranges from alcohol, marijuana, tobacco, and caffeine taken for their effects on altering bodily consciousness but have not been ‘prescribed for medical reasons’ (Wolf, 2007). Legislatives all over the world have spent years and billions fighting to rid the world of drugs. At the end of the day, the legalization of marijuana is dependent on the citizens to either vote in favour of legalizing its recreational use or vote against its circulation as both for medical and recreational use. There are varying stake holders who would either benefit on the legalization of marijuana as a recreational drugs and others would as well not benefit if this bill is passed. The public users of marijuana would be relived as there would not be any criminal sanctions passed on them likewise monetary benefits would be derived from the process. Citizens whose moral beliefs impinges against the use of marijuana would not find the bill beneficial and would possibly make attempts to overthrow the bill even if it wins majority of votes. States and establishments would incur more profits in terms of taxes and permits and those who fall into this category would likely vote in support of the
