Introduction

Course: ED 5810 Project Management for E-learning Development

Level 2 Assessment Tools: are economical, customizable ways of helping the instructor understand whether or not their students have achieved the required amount of knowledge within the topic. Through assessment the instructor can see how strongly, and weakly, the student’s base knowledge, skill sets, concept comprehension, etc stand under critical observation. More so, they allow the chance for the teacher to see how well their training has been internalized through reflection of the student’s efforts and achievement.

Returning to assessment tools, they provided a variable utility on how to inspect student’s growth through the course. Assuming assessment tools happen through the course they allow the teacher to understand any problematic areas in the learning process, and how the teacher may change the instruction to better fit the student’s needs. That’s not to say that they are infallible, merely that they are familiar to the modern student and provide an easier, if automated, way of understanding where the student currently stands in regard to their training.

Hypothetically Testing Considerations: During the hypothetically testing it was found that students did excellent regarding the short answers, but did poorly on essay exams. It was found through the study that students did mostly well on the first essay while there was much struggling with the second.

Possible problems included.
• Instructors may not have covered the information to the extent that was required to answer the test.
• Students may have a weaker writing ability than expected, and thus two essay questions may have been a struggle to answer.
• The students simply ran out of time.
