Education impacts all of our lives. Having an education is what makes someone successful in life. Without an education there is no way you will get a good job after college; without an education you will not even have the chance to attend college to get the full experience of growing up on your own away from our parents. Being a hardworking student and wanting to be a success I take my knowledge to students in grades 5-7 and help them with homework and projects. I also had the chance to tell them the complete change of process from elementary to high school so they can be prepared once it’s their time. The students that I am helping are a part of project forward leap.
Project forward leap (PFL) is a seven-year program committed to closing the gaps of academic achievement and developmental opportunities between students with academic promise put at-risk by serious socio-economic disadvantages and their advantaged peers and by serving as a catalyst for raising achievement standards in their school. I was once a part of Project Forward Leap so now giving back to these kids from what I experienced at their age helps them realize they are never forgotten by the PFL family. PFL made me the student I am today. They taught me the techniques to what a great student can be and also prepared me for college at a young age. The reason I say Project Forward Leap prepared for college is because we take five weeks out of our summer as rising students and spend them going to this camp. The camp is located all around Pennsylvania in such colleges like Messiah and Millersville. It was like being a college student in the morning you attend breakfast then head off for class. Once your classes were completed that day you went back to your...

...hools from preparing students for success growing up. By focusing development to address the specific constraints and challenges of real classrooms, they improve the likelihood that schools will adopt innovations necessary to meet the needs of today's students.
Looking at the community service and the charities that caught my attention there is a lot of help for students and children that are getting ready to start school. School is not always easy for everyone but with the help that is provided for the youth now school should not be too stressful for anyone who puts their full effort into their school work. Being hardworking will lead our generation to having a bright future and be a lot more successful then what they see from maybe some of their parents or even other family members. If we continue to have organizations that will help, everything will be okay.
That broader conception of school allowed those schools to better support the students and address social issues that prevent students from accessing their full potential. This conceptual shift can only be spurred by a clear vision of “good education”—which then caused an improvement in their community’s education
...ntegration of student-faculty conferences, educational facilities will become places full of smiling, bright scholars. As a current student in high school, it is very easy to see these issues in the education system. Each day I walk the halls beside exhausted zombies who debate whether they should use their lunch periods to get math help in the library or sacrifice a club so they could read a chapter of anatomy that is not even relative to what they talk about in class. Due to the ever-increasing competition and subsequent elevation in performance standards, kids’ academic and emotional prosperity is only going to get worse. When I am an adult and have children, there is nothing more that I would love to see in their long drives through high school than an improvement in the education system, so that they would not have to struggle through school my peers and I did.
We live in a very competitive world where, in general, people are more educated. Therefore, college education is essential to the future of our generation. The higher the education, the higher are the chances of getting a nice job. For me, education is not only important to implement my knowledge, but also to improve my communication and leadership skills, and helps me to become more confident with myself, and it also impacts in my decision-making. I love studying and learning about the world we live in. Furthermore, I believe that there are only three keys for a better and more peaceful world: education, education, and education. There is no such thing as wasting money or time in school; there is an investment in our future.
Depending on the opportunities offered by an education develops a just and dignified society . Education is very important for the individual growth and plays a key role in the advancement of civilizations, in their social relationships, their beliefs, their economy and their artistic creations.
So as to improve the K-12 education, the United States needs to redesign the high schools. The initiative by the president to redesign the high schools is significant in encouraging the schools to use the available resources. Schools together with their partners should take into using the resources that exist effectively. These resources are in the local, state and the federal so as to transform the experience in the high schools for the youth through energy of the whole school redesign. This effort of redesigning the high schools will help challenge them and their partners in rethinking learning and teaching. These reforms should constitute of learning that is personalized and college and career exploration that will ens...
Education means a variety of things to any individual because it is the route to fulfilling dreams that one would not have otherwise been able to believe was possible. Just as food provides nourishment to the stomach, happiness satisfaction to the soul, education is the dietary supplement to the brain. Education endows one with the strength and motivation to have a dream, as a consequence one is able to lead a life filled with happiness. One is able to have contentment because with the attainment of an educated mind they are cognizant that they can achieve all of what they have ever imagined. As children we are taught to dream what we want to become and as an adolescent, we are able to live to become just as what we have imagined. The very essence of what we seek to become is educated in a sense because we can only become a step closer to making our reality come into existence without beginning with education.
In reality, people with an education tend to be very successful while the people without an education tend to be unsuccessful. Education is a key factor that defines the basis of human-beings and lays the foundation for human development. It also plays a major role in creating a huge gap in the division within the social classes. This huge gap is due to unsuccessful education that exists in society. There are many factors that contribute to unsuccessful education which include expensive education, the quality of education, and disadvantaged individuals. Education is an important aspect of society that needs affordability, skilled and professional teachers, and resources in order to be successful and conform to societal standards.
It wasn’t until I became a college student that I started to question what education meant to me. For a lot of us, immigrants, we come with the purpose of achieving something greater than our parents. The way I grew up living was enough to encourage me to get educated. But the struggle of an unsuccessful life taught me Education was the road to a successful path. But what happens when the only way to get there, is the one thing that can stop you? As I became conscious to how I was being educated, I realized that the educational system was not fairly equally distributed to everyone. My social impact initiative is Education. What is education? What does it mean to those who implement it, who teach it, and who learn it? To what extent does education
Education mean something different for everyone. Because of this, people have different views for the purpose of education. For some education can be very important and for others no so much. However, education is still present in some ways. Education is used for many things like advancing in the work place and helping out country compete against other countries. The role that education plays in improving the lives of students is by creating democratic citizens; this happens by promoting imagination and the desire to care in classrooms.
Education provides people with guidance and practical skills necessary in everyday life. For example, when we are purchasing something, we deal with money. Who do we owe the quick calculation we make as we pay for these items? Thanks to our first, second, and third grade teachers for teaching us to add, subtract, multiply, and divide at such a young age. The math skills we acquire at an age when we do not see the importance is something we carry with us throughout our lives. When driving a distance to visit a loved one, the street signs are very practical. What if we could not read? Thanks to our kindergarten teacher who started us off with reading the words “cat” and “dog.” Then we can thank the first grade and second grade teacher who taught us how to write sentences, for if we cannot make it to see our loved ones who live far away, we can write them a letter.
Going to school and getting a great education is important for a successful future in today’s world. Years ago, many children did not go to school and many young adults opted to work instead of attending college. In today’s society, gaining a high level of education is almost always mandatory for many jobs. There are many changes being done to the education system along with new items and ways of teaching in the classroom. There is a growing amount of changes in the classroom such as technology, teaching time, teaching styles, and freedom of space.
Education is essential for everyone. Education plays a critical role in the development of a generation of individuals that is virtuous and in turn contributes to the development of good people. Through education, a person is able to develop mentally, but also physically and socially. To the youths, education is important as it helps them to develop the principles of life, enables them to make the correct career decisions and also prepares them in the pursuit of the goals that they may have set for themselves in life. I strongly believe that a good, heck, or even a regular education is a right that cannot be taken away. Education is a right and not a privilege.
Education will help you grow as an individual because the more knowledge you have the better understanding you will have in any given problem that will come your way. It will give you self satisfaction and will boost your self confidence. As an individual I know it will help me in a lot of aspects in my life. It will give me a financial stability because I will be able to land a good job and a high paying salary. I will learn how to spend my money and will learn how to invest it wisely. The more education I have the more respect and acknowledgement I will get from people. Knowledge is really important that is why we need to take it seriously. It is the strong weapon you can have to conquer this complex world. If you have a good education nobody can fool you and you will not tolerate any mistreatment from people. It will give you a better views in life if you are well educated.
Education should be a part of everyone's life. A good education offers something for everyone, whether it be on the simple level or a more complex one. Education should provide provide an opportunity for students to develop a strong sense of creativity, a high self esteem, and a life long respect for learning. Education should help students establish a strong sense of confidence in themselves. A teacher will be one factor that helps a student learn and progress along their way through life. Teachers combine their own ideas with other people's to be able to give a good education to their students.
Nelson Mandela once said,“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. Education is the process of gaining information about the world. Education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something even better. Access to education is the foundation of a democratic society, because it provides an opportunity for all to achieve the American Dream, ensures equality and justice, and allows for our country to compete globally for a prosperous future.
