Coincidentally, her grades fell from straight A’s to straight C’s. The school noticed that, because of this noxious change to the schedule, a majority of the students did far worse than they previously had. However, when the school finally abrogated this new method and changed back to the traditional one, it was too late to save the students’ grades. - 4-Day School Schedule, or No The school systems are constantly changing. New ideas are being tossed back and forth between school boards all over the country. Graduation Speech : High School

- Do you remember how long your class periods were when you were in high school. It was more than likely a class period over an hour long. In the past, the classes with more time helped the students and teachers by having the time to make the content well informed. Today at Wayne County High School we only have 55-minute class periods. This probably doesn’t seem like much of a problem to a lot of students, but in my opinion it is a problem. Wayne County High School has seven class periods a day unless the student has a job and can co-op....   [tags: High school, Education, Teacher, School]

Graduation Speech : Elementary School

- In August 2003 the world that I have been previously become accustomed to changed forever. I no longer stayed home with my mom, where she took care of and played with me. This is when I started my educational career in kindergarten. Looking back, I did not actually do much learning. Kindergarden was more of a place that I went to for a few hours a day and got to hang out with at least twenty of my peers. As elementary school progressed, school got more difficult because we were no longer focusing on playing games and going out to recess, but rather learning to do math, write, read, and learn appropriate social behavior....   [tags: Education, High school, Middle school, College]
