The group is open and individuals are referral into the group to help with anger issues. The group meetings are conducted, every Thursday for an hour at the Benjamin Hooks Job Corps Center. The group size is 12 to 15. The group is facilitated by a psychologist. There is no intake screening involved or any pre - assessments to participant in this group. The referral form is the only requirement to attend the group. An individual can be referred by a team manager, counselor, teacher, or other staff members. The group goes over the rules at the beginning of each session. The rules are: What is said in here, stays in Here, only share what you are comfortable sharing, Respect, and Be considerate of others. Another rule is that the door is locked at the meeting time of 2:00 pm, which avoids individuals interpreting the group process.

Furthermore, members in the group change every week which probably make it hard for group cohesion and obtaining trust within the group. Perhaps, this group remains in the storming and norming stages because of its openness. I spoke with the facilitator and shared some of the things that, I observed. She was very open to my comments and answered any questions, that I asked. She also told me that she was very impressed, about all of the information, I have acquired this semester in my group class. This made me feel awesome and the group members also inquired about me attending more often. This was very enjoyable and a great learning experience. As I learn and continue to observe the group process there are so many techniques, that I have gained this semester.
