Travel companies use many different leaflets and promotional devises
to portray their message to the general public. Therefore it is
vitally important to portray the correct image. Brochures use
colourful images to get their message across and informal style fonts,
which enable them to portray their message in an informal tone.
Brochures at the same time however can be very informative and provide
people with detailed information the terms and conditions, which
generally are enclosed at the back of the brochure. Consequently the
tour operator can accurately convey the message that it hopes to pass
on to the consumer.

Displays.

Displays can inform people about the different promotions in which
companies such as travel agents have on offer. If you go past a high
street travel agent then you will probably see many different window
displays. This is because travel agents actively promote cheap
holidays, which could encourage people to purchase a holiday. Displays
can also be utilised in order to convey messages such as the latest
events or festivals such as theme park annual events.

At some point in every kid’s life, they see an advertisement for a food or toy they want. This want leads to nagging of the parent until they give in.
