Life Changing Experience
About one year ago I had a life changing experience, a trip to a little town called
Kerry on the outskirts of Dublin, Ireland. It was the most beautiful place that I have ever
seen. Being in the presence of such beauty helped me see life from a different
perspective. I was just going to be happy, appreciate what I have, be open-minded, not
take anything for granted, and love everyone and everything. When I came back from
Ireland I was truly happy, nothing could make me upset. But after awhile my constant
elation came to a gradual end, but I was soon to find that even though my elation ended I
was going to be a happy, loving, and open-minded person forever. And there was
everyday influences like film, art, and music to remind me of that, my trip, and the
happiness that came with it.
Film helps me to remember not to take little things for granted. A good example
of this is in the movie “Good Will Hunting”. The main character, Will Hunting (Matt
Damon), is a troubled young man living the poor life in south Boston. He had a real
genius for mathematics, but due to his hard personality and a long line of dysfunctional
foster homes he didn’t take advantage of this talent. Then with the help from a MIT
professor and a psychology teacher (Robin Williams) Will is able to open up and realize
what he had. This movie just seemed so real and it reminded me how lucky I am, I have
a good family great friends which should never be taken for granted. Which reminds me
of freedom, a privilege seriously taken for granted in todays society. I think many people
will probably never realize how lucky they are to have freedom unless the are fighting for
it or simply don’t have it. This apprecia...

artist’s like Elliott Smith play beautiful music, Smith’s songs “Kiwi Maddog 20/20” and
“No Name #3” remind me of going the beach with my friends. That also makes me
really happy (being with my friends), as does the musician Nick Drake. Personally I
think Nick Drake is the best acustic musician of all times, his album “Pink Moon”
is beautifuland it reminds me of being with my friends. Music (especially acustic) gives
me that happy feeling and lets me realize the special things in my life like beauty in
nature and friends.
All in all, my trip to Ireland brought me to the realization that life is a valuable
thing. Since that trip I have totally changed, I appreciate all I have, I’m happy, open
minded, and loving towards all life. And film, art, and music just are a constant reminder
that.

At this university a math professor posts a nearly unsolvable math problem on the board, WIll solves it. After Will comes forward about solving the problem the teacher would like to help him get a better job to put his talents to use. In order to do so WIll must meet with a therapist. Will makes a strong connection with this therapist because of their common background. Throughout the movie you see Will grow in his relationships, but you also see him stumble because of all the opportunities he now has. Finally, he makes a breakthrough in therapy and chooses a job to start his new life, and goes to get the love of his

A lot of people search through life trying to find something that means something to them, something life changing. I experienced my life-changing event when I was 3 years old. I was in a terrible car accident. Realistically, being 3, I do not really remember what all happened – I remember a few details though, the feeling, the pain, and my parents reactions. Their reactions were crucial in the development of my realization of this life-changing event. All through my life I grew up with this crazy thing that had happened in the past and all I had were my parents’ recollections on the events that occurred. But, youth is just kind of weird like that – you tend to hear more about what you experienced than actually remembering it. My parents really
An Event which changed my life, well when, I think back on my life there’s
When I try and think of a specific time or life event that made an impact on my life I think of the day I had each of my children. For any mother this is a similar day she will look back on as an event that changed her life. My youngest son Oliver has a lot of complex medical issues, and has given me quite a few life changing events in his short 18 months. Oliver was born on January 15, 2015 on a military base in Laundstul, Germany. We named him Oliver because it means unique and dignified. We chose the name after we discovered he had a cleft Lip. He defiantly fits that description. Oliver has been in and out of the hospital since he was born, from the time he was born he had difficulty absorbing his food. He would eat and eat, but not gain
Today was the worst day of my life. My mom gave me good and bad news. The bad news was so horrible. The good news was very surprising. The bad news was so bad, that I started crying. My mom told me that I was MOVING!!!
There has been so many life changing experiences in my life it is hard to keep dealing with it. Here recently I have been losing a lot of very important people I love or they are getting hurt in some awful way. I have lost my first wonderful cousin, Chris, my brothers wife, Molly. Also Grant, my sister 's boyfriend, is hurt really bad still today. I can not stand seeing many of my loved ones hurt and I do not know how much more people I can lose.
I have a very fulfilling feeling about what I have been able to accomplish in my life so far. I want the absolute best for myself and those close to me. I often go above and beyond to help those around me succeed and be the best version of themselves that they can possibly be.
One of my favorite scenes from this film is when will smith is talking with his son and he told him: “Don’t ever let somebody tell you, you can’t do something, not even me. Alright? You got a dream you got to protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you can’t do it. If you want something go get it. Period. At the end of the movie he made his dreams come true, after so much effort, so many falls, so much rejection he never gives up, and all of this was because he wanted to make his dream come true to show his son, that everything in life never will be easy, because if you want something big, you have to work big to make it happen.
My most life changing experience was when I moved from the sunny skies of North Carolina to The Blizzard, more formally known as Germany in the middle of my second grade year. My Step-Dad was active duty in the military. Of course, he had to drag us with him. He flew out to Germany first so for about three weeks it was just Mom and I . Just about every day Mom would say “Two more weeks till Germany, Tarix”, “One more week till Germany, Tarix” (Rich, Andrea), which I really never took to heart. I was too caught up in deciding what my Barbie was going to wear that day and riding my new tricycle to have time to process her words. Of course ignorance is bliss until
