Hunting is a worldwide event that has taken place for hundred's of years and is still a popular trait that is being carried on in today's society by millions of people. Although many people all over the world have experienced the hunting tradition, there are still many people who have not had the chance to experience the thrill of hunting and the excitement that is involved. There are many situations caused by hunting that can give an individual an unequaled sensation caused by an adrenaline rush and I can relate in many ways from the past years of hunting since I was a child.
In my lifetime, I have had a great deal of experiences while hunting all different types of species, but the first adrenaline rush was when I was a child while hunting squirrels with my father on a hunting lease in Arkansas. My father was a great wise hunter and he tried his best to teach me the proper techniques and safety before letting me go freely into the wilderness. At this point in time, I had not yet went on an official hunting trip, but was deeply informed by all the hunting stories and all the excitement that was involved. I was more than ready for the adventure I was going to have on the approaching weekend. As I mentioned, my father had always informed me about the adrenaline rushes that was involved while hunting wildlife and I could honestly say that I was already experiencing the rush and the hunt had not even began yet. It was the night before and I was very anxious about the squirrel hunt the next morning.
I could hardly sleep because of the anxiety that was taken place within me, but eventually I dosed off and I had the idea of hunting on mind so much; I started to dream about it. Finally, when the time came to get u...

...ll a doe because I wanted a buck, but I remembered that my father had once told me that bucks tend to follow doe's around while trying to mate, so I waited with such anxiety and nervousness along with that adrenaline rush and a buck walks out while seeking the doe. I then tried to slowly lift my gun to get in a ready position and I bumped the side of the deer stand with my gun because I was shaking very badly. Well, the deer quickly hear the bump; the buck in particular, and ran away leaving me in a sense of uneasiness and great madness all because I was so nervous in that certain situation.
After hunting year after year, I still manage to develop a sense of nervousness or adrenaline rush every time I attempted to hunt an animal of some type. I have proved that adrenaline rushes can save an individual's life in certain situations and can cause great misery.
What matter is that the hunter is having fun doing what they love with their best friends. Waterfowl hunting is not a ordinary hunting experience it is above and beyond ordinary. Waterfowl hunting is waking up on cold mornings at 3A.M., drinking coffee, playing with the hunting dog, seeing places no one has ever seen before, and bonding with the greatest of friends. These are the memories a hunter will always remember, waterfowl hunting will change lives, waterfowl hunting is a addiction, and once someone is hooked they will never turn back. Bink Grimes says when he started waterfowl hunting it was dreadful the first few weeks, then he said once he started noticing the real aspects of hunting he enjoyed it more and more each time he went (Grimes). The proof is everywhere that waterfowl hunting is the greatest outdoor sport all around the world. Nevertheless, always be safe, and always enjoy the hunt, and make the greatest
In conclusion hunting is not for everyone, but those who do take pride in it. It takes a lot more than just to walk in the woods and pick a spot. Deer use thousands of runs throughout the woods. Spending weeks searching for the right spot in order to make a kill. It takes hours of sitting in a stand not saying a word or moving a muscle. You could spend days, months, or even years without getting a kill if you do not put in the time. When the time comes if you’ve done what I’ve said in the above paragraphs, you will be
Hunters often reveal that being in nature provides time to clear the mind. In the woods, there is no rush, no schedule, and no deadlines; nature moves at its own pace. This interaction provides a deep spiritual connection with the land, the wildlife, and our planet. Hunting has been around since the beginning of time and has been in many people 's lives for generations, these are some reasons why people all across America continue to hunt. Hunting has many benefits such as reducing deer related car accidents, controlling deer densities in heavily human populated areas, creates jobs, and feeding and supporting families. Thus, deer hunting is necessary for several reasons.

Many people have misconceptions about hunting. One such misconception is that hunting is easy and any person can go sit in the woods and wait for an animal to cross the hunter’s path. However, people who believe this are sorely mistaken. Hunting is not just sitting in the woods with a rifle; there are many other aspects that must be considered. An individual must have all preparations complete, purchase or gather the equipment needed, and know what to listen for while in the woods.
Where does the line of sport and murder intersect in hunting? Is it when the species being hunted is able to reason? Or is it when the species being hunted looks just like the hunter? In both movie and film, we see a man fight for his life and another going against all codes of ethics. While Connell’s “The Most Dangerous Game” and Ernest B. Schoedsack’s film adaptation both have several similarities, the difference are also apparent in each respective media.
For many people, hunting is just a sport, but for some it is a way of life. In Rick Bass’s “Why I Hunt” he explains how he got to where he lives now and what he thinks of the sport of hunting. There are many things in the essay that I could not agree more with, and others that I strongly disagree. Overall this essay provides a clear depiction of what goes through the mind of a hunter in the battle of wits between them and the animal.
It is early in the morning; the majestic Elk bugles in the distance. The sun is kissing the tops of the peaks with the most beautiful gold, and painting the clouds rose red. The men and women who enjoy the outdoors whether it is hunting or just hiking help make these types of moments possible. Hunting and the ecosystem is tied closely to conservation of land and animals. The articles of “Hunting and the ecosystem” written by the South Dakota Game Fish and Parks Department (SDGFP), and “Facts and statistics on wildlife conservation” written by Roger Holmes, director of the Fish and Wildlife, touch on how hunting is important in the environment to keep a good balance in the ecosystem. They also point out how hunters do more than any other organization for wildlife and environment. Our country was created by outdoors men who hunted and they passed their knowledge of the outdoors to their kids. Hunting has worked its way down from the generation and we should learn to “pass it on” Hunting is great for the environment and wildlife and should be preserved for the ages to come.
...ns we had plenty of time to talk about things, but I also had time to sit and think about things for myself in the calm outdoors. That first day of hunting proved to me that hunting is one of the most fun and enjoyable things to do, along with an emotional experience, as long as it is done safety.

Hunting as we all know can be a very controversial sport in the eyes of the public. Hunting as described by Webster’s Dictionary is the activity or sport of chasing and killing wild animals. There are numerous different ways to hunt the same animal as well as innumerable different species of animals to hunt. Hunting includes trapping, shooting, and even fishing. Americans tend to hunt for the sport of it while citizens of other countries often depend on the catch of the prey to feed their families and communities.
We walk back to the truck and head for home, we didn’t shoot anything this morning but the hunt was a success; we both saw many deer and we were in the woods during the most beautiful part of the day. As we drive through the woods towards home I am totally content, there is nothing more I could have right now; the experience of being in the woods, and my family.
I started my research by looking for information that would inform me about the post effect of hunting and the people who hunt. Many people who hunt
Hunting has always been a cornerstone of the American way of life. To Our forefathers, and Native Americans before them, hunting was a necessary for their survival. In our current times hunting, generally, is not viewed as a way of life, but as a destructive pastime. What most people don't understand is that without hunting, the population of deer and other wild game could grow to unsustainable levels. Without hunters, animals could overpopulate, and cause great ecological damage. The role that hunting plays in sustaining animal populations is defiantly the difference between sustained populations, and mass starvations.
