The presidential election of 2016 has been one of the most unconventional and memorable in U.S. history. After a very long and grisly campaign, Donald Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States. With a country that is divided, Donald Trump is faced with the difficult task of building the trust of the American citizens and closing the gap that has emerged between the Republican and Democratic parties. Each party must be able to work together and compromise to ensure the country is run effectively. Donald Trump appears to have some good ideas for a change in health care, a tax reform, and the education system. However, his view on immigration would be an immense setback for the United States. He wants to create a patient-centered health care system that promotes choice, quality, and affordability. All three of those areas are lacking with Obamacare. With the current system of Obamacare, premiums have increased by an average of 25 percent and deductibles range from $3,000 to $7,000 (Trump, 2016). This deters people from obtaining necessary medical care because they can not afford it. Donald Trump wants to repeal and replace Obamacare with Health Savings Accounts. This would be extremely helpful to people who have high deductible insurance plans because it allows them to save money tax-free for medical expenses and the money saved is 100 percent
