Psalm 103, while verse eleven is not specifically address worship, I believe it could serve as a foundation for what the topic of worship covers. Psalm 103:11 says: “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is love for those who fear him.” Now of course this is not talking about worship in any way, I would suggest that worship is as high as the heavens are above the earth. Worship just is. With that having been said, worship should never try to be contained into one person’s own view of worship. By this I mean that I have attended Churches that average one hundred people every Sunday and the average age was about thirty-five to fourty-five. Now that particular church was able to successfully put together dramas throughout the year. However I have also attended churches that averaged fifteen people every Sunday and the average demographics were aged around seventy-eight. Unfortunately not all churches can participate and have all the arts programs in the church when the entire congregation averages fifteen people. So I believe it all depends on the context and the reality of every individual church. However, I also believe that if the times are right for God, He can build a Church, but at the same time, I believe if the time is right, God can also close a Church, or amalgamate a few churches …show more content…

King David in the Old Testament said, I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. Unless King David was just trying to find a way to write another psalm, or just add some good sounding ‘filler’ then fine, but if not, how could we, or why would we not want to worship such an amazing, sovereign, omniscient, omnipresent God? He deserves our praise, he created every single person and the Bible says, Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. When you step back and just think about that all by itself, how could we not want to worship God? I mean he knows us right down to our very core, he knew before even ever sending His Son the evil sorts of things that we would do on earth, and yet, He still sent His only Son to die for us because even though he knew what sorts of evil and perverse things we are all capable of doing. So why would we not want to worship
