The Power of Teachers’Motivation
I remember the first day I stood in the bright dancing room with many beautiful girls. I was nervous but preoccupied because it was also the first time I met my dancing teacher, a slim and elegant woman with long dark hair and attractive eyes. “Do you know what you will learn in this class?” She stood in front of us and asked. “Dancing!” We gazed her and answered with one voice. “Not exactly, young girls.” She smiled demurely, “You will learn a new language which is the most special in the world, and I will teach you how to regard your arms and legs as pens to write your poetry with your own exceptional words. Can you imagine how beautiful it is? ” There was the first time I was enchanted by a teacher, and there was the first time I trust that a teacher could be an engineer of a human soul. During the process of learning dances with her, she pushed me to higher levels of dancing stepwise, and to made me enjoy dancing, she made hard efforts; at the same time, she raised up my passion in my life. Even thought I have come to United States, every word she said, and every movement she showed in that dancing room still often appear in my mind. To me there are many great teachers in the world like my dancing teacher; furthermore, I believe that excellent teachers not only teach their students academic knowledge but also motivate their students when they set high expectations, have an engaging teaching technique and build a positive relationship with them.
Teachers set high expectations for their students is the first way to build interests in their learning. When students join a new class and learn new knowledge, they feel restless and always doubt themselves. At that time, great teachers...

...nd encourage students’ intellectual passion so that they will be more proactive in learning and make self-improvement faster. While teachers build a positive relationship with students, they understand their students in depth, and students prefer to study and share their feelings with their teachers ; in addition, with their support and positive influence, their students are likely to have a glorious future. Because excellent teachers have a great influence on their students by motivation, they become to the extremely important figures in students’ lives. Without they impact knowledge, students are unlikely to receive education and make self-improvement, and if a teacher doesn’t motivated his or her students to learn, students will lose their passion and interest in learning which is not limited to one course but may not be going on smoothly in their academic journey.
After dancing over thirteen years at Annabel Timm’s School of Ballet, I was given the opportunity to help teach a hip-hop class for kids in elementary school. Every Wednesday night, I would meet fifteen little girls at the studio and teach them a new dance to perform in front of their parents. After only a few lessons, each girl became such an important part in my life. During class I would answer their questions about technique and different fundamentals of dance, but when class was over I answered questions about their homework and talked them through all of their problems pertaining home and school. I realized I wasn’t just a dance assistant to them, but I was a mentor.
This essay has an important message and would be of great interest to the reader. However, the thesis is not well presented and the methodology is not clear, I recommend, “Reconsideration after major revisions.” Overall, the subject of dance education within academia is a scholarly topic often not address in k-20 educational curricula or institutions. It is important to have essays, which advance dance education in the arts to communicate meaning about the human

These days, there is an ongoing debate among people about the importance of motivation. With many people claiming that motivation and structure practice can consider as the most effective method rather than teaching in classrooms. While many other arguably arrogating that classroom coaching should not replace with any other alternate methods. However, this notion merits serious consideration. In this essay, I will explicate my point of view by analyzing both the sides of the assertion.
The question is asked, what can we do to make them (students) feel OK? Educators must strive to build bonds of respect with the students. Teachers provide the basis for motivation with the environment inside the classroom. We must pull students into challenges and lead them to success regardless of the obstacles. The activities provided in the classroom must capture the imagination of the students in order to stay focused. The activities must be challenged the perfect way in order to stretch the minds of the students. When mistakes are made, we must become a coach to provide the reinforcement they need. The coach in us provides demonstration of knowledge and we train ourselves to think about new skills we have obtained. As educators we must always push students to succeed academically. These conditions the author discusses allow schools to become more intentional about student motivation.
“Motivation is a complex part of human psychology and behavior that influences how individuals choose to invest their time, how much energy they exert in any given task, how they think and feel about the task, and how long they persist at the task” (Urdan & Schoenfelder, 2006). The biggest question educators face in today’s classroom is what motivates a student to do something and why? Virtually all students are motivated in one way or another. Research of student motivation suggests a theory that emphasizes a social-cognitive perspective. The cognition of students regarding academic work are influenced by social factors, such as messages from the teacher about the difficulty of the task, the perceived abilities of classmates, and the information about the importance of learning the material (Urdan & Schoenfelder, 2006). In this paper the focus will primarily be on those elements within the classroom that influence student motivation and engagement.
Education is a very important aspect of our lives. It is our education that makes us who we are and determines what we become. Therefore, education is not something to be taken lightly. As a teacher, my goal will be to provide the best possible education for my students. Every student is unique. I must see students for who they are individually and respect their ideas and opinions. Each student has a different learning style. I must take this into consideration because I want to provide a constructive learning opportunity for every student. I believe that every student has the potential to learn.
The job of a teacher is never easy but we have seen how cooperative discipline and enabling students to feel capable, connected and contributing can improve classroom management and maybe even our own moods. If we create an environment of mutual respect and give our students legitimate power of voice and choice in the classroom we will see positive results in improved student behavior and student achievement. Because when our students believe that they can succeed, they will.
Education is an ever-changing part of society. A classroom teacher is faced with new challenges and obstacles that have never been dealt with before. Students come to the classroom with different life stories. Every student has strengths and weaknesses that surface in the classroom environment. Teachers must understand and focus on utilizing each student's strengths and work to improve weaknesses. Students learn in a variety of ways. The classroom must be a safe zone that appreciates student's viewpoints and allows room for mistakes. When topics in the classroom are related to "real-life" experiences, the information is more likely to be retained. Students learn from one another. The ideas and perspectives that each student brings to the classroom can bring insight into what is being learned. Students have to be allowed to explore new ideas, try them to see if they work, and sometimes fail. When students are encouraged to explore, they begin the process of becoming lifelong learners.
Nowadays, many countries offer dance courses in the Primary school, Middle school, High school and Colleges, but still most countries do not realize the importance of dance education for children. In many countries, there are few schools, schools of art usually only two kinds of music and art offer dance classes, and dance only occasionally appear in campus activities. They ignore the benefits that dance brings to us, such as an improved the ability of cooperation, collective sense of honor, Self-confidence, Exercise perseverance, and so on. It’s necessary to reach all dance education to all schools.
My interest in teaching started at a young age. I used to watch my teachers in awe as they were able to find new ways to get their students involved and excited to learn. Their enthusiasm to teach was so inspiring. I would often find myself using that same fervor as I grasped each concept. I, then, was able to relay it to my fellow classmates as a peer tutor. To this day, becoming a teacher is a passion that flows through me. However, my enthusiasm and passion are not the only reasons I would be a good teacher. I aspire to see a student’s ability to grasp the knowledge they never before understood. I aspire to see a student succeed at something they never thought they ever could. I aspire to not only support students with academic skills, but also with life lessons about the value of community, pride in one’s own ethnicity, good citizenship, sportsmanship, and more. I aspire to play a fundamental role in ensuring that all students from all cultures and learning abilities have the opportunity to be guided in a positive learning

Before I came to the United States, dancing is an important part of my life. I liked dancing because it’s not only an artist but also a beautiful language. I enjoyed showing myself in the spotlight, and I felt confident and excited when I won the applause from the audience. However, dancing was bittersweet to me. After dancing had become from a class or a job from a hobby, the meaning of dancing had changed for me. It seemed not as glorious as I’d thought it was. I entered my high school as an art specialty student when I was fifteen-year-old; therefore, participating the dance training in the school was my re-sponsibility. I accepted extensive training. Pulled muscles and twisted ankles caused me pain, and many times, I secretly cried because of insults. Dancing gradually eroded my passion and love of it.
I think all students yearn to learn. We as future teachers need to motivate students with learning, exploring, investigating, discovering and inquiring. Together you will be learning and teaching.
Along these two weeks we have been prompt to make a recall to our own way of learning and why we became a teacher: Was it because coincidence, due to life circumstances, maybe because family tradition, was it a conscious decision or because someone influenced us? Whatever the answer is, we have to face reality and be conscious that being a teacher does not only means to teach a lesson and asses students learning. It requires playing the different roles a teacher must perform whenever is needed and required by our learners, identify our pupils needs and preferences, respecting their integrity and individuality but influencing and motivating them to improve themselves and become independent.
