Choosing a career following high school graduation is very important if I wish to fulfill my goal in life. To be successful in life, education is a key point to attaining it. Many high paying jobs requires a high school diploma as well as a degree which is resulted from attending college. After completing high school, I fully intend to register in either the University of California, Los Angeles or go to Pima Medical Institute.
Music has always been one of my passions in life. I have always loved to sing, listen to music as well as compose my own music. Every chance I get to let my emotions and feelings out, I usually end up singing, listening or composing music because it’s way for people to release. Anything that has to do with music would be a great career for me because music is a way some people’s escape route, whether it is emotions of being sad, happy, mad, joyful, etc. In my opinion, most music pieces have a meaning and it’s so beautiful. For these reasons and more, going to UCLA will help me pursue my goal in music history in the future. I think it will be exciting knowing the history of the hobbies I love. Although, not only will I learn about music history, but attending the University of California, Los Angeles will get the basic education and also have a chance to experience what life at college is like.
Another career goal I have set in mind for the future is nursing. I have always admired how nurses take care of their patients, and I wanted to do the great deed they do towards society. I have previously wanted to be a doctor, but as I got older I realized that I am really sensitive to the sight of blood. Although, being a nurse would give me satisfaction that a doctor would give me because I would know that I a...

...l in becoming a nurse. The main reason I want to attend Pima Medical Institute is to enroll in nursing, and pursue a career in becoming a nurse.
Enrolling in University of California, Los Angeles to study music history is a possible career choice of mines. To attain this goal, I intend to enroll in performing art classes throughout high school such as show choir, drama, dance, etc, as well as study and understand music and performing arts. To fulfill my other post secondary option is pursuing a career in nursing and attending Pima Medical Institute, I intend to take a class on medical terminology in high school. I also plan on asking my brother who is a nurse in the military for any aid and information he can provide me with. I intend to study immensely for the SAT’s or ACT’s and pass with high score so I can obtain my goal in enrolling in UCLA or attending PMI.
As I reflect on my extracurricular and academic activities, I see the essence of my future. I want to attend a great university (like the University of Texas); I want to work hard to become a nurse—a person who has devoted his or herself to caring for the well-being of others.
I am currently planning to attend Richland Community college and graduate as a registered nurse. The reason I chose this career is because helping out others has always driven me forward. I want to study something that I know I will be content doing for the rest of my life and registered nursing is the right choice. Being a nurse has a many perquisites, but my choice has nothing to do with the advantages that it will provide me with. It is more about the fact that I have the chance to make people who are ill feel better and also to hel...
All my life I have always wanted to be a nurse. Since I was younger I can recall playing with stethocopes. I have four siblings so my parents paying for my education has never been an option for me. That having said I became a Medical Assistant. Becoming a medical assistant has been a great blessing in my life. I have been able to work with patients, while going to school but I am ready to further my education. I want to be able to provide patients with medications, IV's, and many other skills that will put my full knowledge to use. I think that nursing is a great profession because it is a job that is in demand. Nurses can work anywhere ranging from clinics, hospitals, schools, and even jails. This means a lot because if anything occurs
I decided to become a nurse for several reasons; for example, helping those who have given up on everything and don’t even want to help themselves. When one is in a hospital and you have no family or friends, I want to be the one they turn to for comfort. If one is on their death bed and there is no one there to be the last person they see, I want to be the one smiling and comforting them. If one were in a terrible accident and frightened, I want to be the one who tells them that they’re going to get through this and then be there for them until they’re walking out of the hospital doors. In a sense, I want to be a nurse that can bring hope and faith back into their lives.
As a kid I was always in people 's business and telling them what they should and should not do, and as I grow older I still find time to voice my opinion. My friends like to joke and call me the “ MOM” of the group so I feel that as a nurse I will be able to care for patients and tell them what to do better when it come to their health. My plans for the future are to attend a college of my choosing and obtain a MSN in Nursing. An activity that I enjoy doing is Volunteering at my local hospital because I am able to get an inside look of what nusring would be like and I enjoy helping others.
My interest in nursing is fairly new; I had not explored the potential that a nursing career can offer. I became familiar with nursing professionally after becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. While working with patients, side-by-side with nurses I became enamored with the potential of a nursing career. I now have a rewarding career working as a Medical-Surgical nurse on a Medical University Hospital floor that specializes in Transplant, Nephrology and Urology. Nursing encompasses the ideologies that fuel my passion, upon further research, and conversation with coworkers I realize my career goal of Family Nurse Practitioner; affording me the privilege to care for others by reaching out to various
You go three years of high school preparing for college and at the same time having fun. Until you are in your senior year of high school that’s when you realize and start asking your self what college do I want to go to? Or what college career I want to pursue? That’s when you notice you have but so little time to answer these questions. Me I’m in my last year of high school and I though I already knew what career I wanted to pursue, but its now that I notice that not even I know what I’m going to do with my life? All I’m sure of its that I’m going to graduate out of high school with a diploma and that I’m going to college. But what happens after that? What major did I study? Or where did I go to accomplish my goal?
When I was younger, I always wanted to pursue a medical career. Whether is was helping humans or animals, I always wanted to save lives. To this day I want to have a career in medicine, but I did not have a specific job in mind until recently. My mom was the one who introduced me to the idea of becoming a nurse anesthetist. After talking to my grandma, a retired registered nurse, I found that this could be a possible career choice. One of the things she loved most about her job was being able to get to know the patients personally. Nurse anesthetists are able to develop a relationship with their patients, but they don't have to do the dirty work like bathing patients and changing their bed pans. Another reason becoming a nurse anesthetist appealed to me is because I like to challenge myself. The classes are tough and several years of school are required. Some days are very stressful, but the rewards are well worth it.
Providing the assistance and showing love for others on a daily basis; is the best way to show people you appreciate and care for them. Accordingly, my dream career (a Registered nurse) is specialized to work in many different areas in the nursing field. Emotional stability, compassion, and caring attributes are very important, often time nurses’ deal with stresses including emergencies and human suffering. Being a Registered nurse you are required to
I want to be a nurse, specifically a nurse practitioner. I have always been fascinated with the medical field and see a bright future in it for me. I have the opportunity of meeting new people every day with a variety of personalities. There is always something new to discover in this field. A nurse practitioner's job is to be able to diagnose and treat illnesses. They also prescribe medicine and run physical exams. I am highly interested in pursuing the career of a nurse practitioner because the healthcare field is always in need for medical professionals, it pays well, and I am helping people at the same time.
I have always had a passion for nursing. As a child, I watched my mother getting up early, putting her scrubs on and headed out the door for a 12 hour shift. She was always content, and at ease to go for a long shift and even overtime at times. I love the fact that after work, she would always come home, satisfied with the day no matter how hard it was for her. She would sit and tell my brothers and sisters how she enjoyed the conversations that she had with her patients and what impact she had on their lives that day. Listening to these stories as a child, I knew that I wanted to become a nurse and listening to the same stories and helping people, making their day feel better. I wanted to follow my mom’s footsteps. At the end of a long shift, it is a rewarding profession, knowing that I am saving people’s lives, making them comfortable when they are near of dying, advocate and teaching them. As nurses, we care for patients through illness, injury, aging, health. We also promote health, prevent diseases and teaching the community; that’s what I love about nursing. I believe that this is the right profession for me because I have all the qualities that a nurse should possess when
My three college choices are University of Florida, University of Seattle and Ohio University. Each of these colleges have good qualities for my careers. I’m not very sure what exactly I want to have a career in. Two of my main choices are veterinarian or child care. Some of my concerns are the distance, cost of tuition, the quality of the program, and the recreation at the colleges.
From a young age, I was drawn to the healthcare field, not because the amount of money doctors, nurses and other health professionals made, but because of the dedication and contentment I saw on their faces helping someone in need. Growing up everyone wanted to become a doctor or a nurse and as a little child being a doctor or a nurse was a profession many parents wanted their child to pursue as a career. Needless to say, I fell into that category because I had high hopes that one day I will become a nurse. However, that dream came to a halt.
For many high school students, trying to choose the right career path after high school is a daunting task. Should I go to college? Should I skip college and find a job right away? Should I take some time off? These are questions many students find themselves trying to answer when trying to decide how to choose the right career.
Life contains an unlimited amount of life lessons; my main life lesson has inspired me to never give up on myself or my goals. Through my life experiences I have learned that there is no such thing as failure. I am certain with myself that I can find success through hard work and dedication. My career aspiration is to help others as a healthcare professional. More specifically, I have a dream of pursuing a career in physical therapy. Nothing gives me more self-satisfaction than to see that I am able to help people self-improve. Therefore, I have committed to studying and preparing myself for graduate school. I am currently an Undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida, destined to graduate in the Fall of 2017. There are multiple Undergraduate degree paths I can take to prepare myself for grad-school; however, I chose a path that can help me develop skills to provide the best possible service for my future patients. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences
