Speech On Optimistic Person

Have you ever lost a close one to health problems? How about losing him or her to something that must 've surely been painful? Well, if you 've answered yes to either of these questions, I 've got a follow-up question. Were you sad that your close one was now gone, or were you happy that their suffering was over? If you 've answered yes to the either one, then, good job, you 're a normal human being. But, if you answered yes to the second one specifically, then you 're probably just like me since I thought the same way when my grandfather died. Meaning, I too try to look at the positives in bad situations. I think it’s better to both look at and actively find the positives in a situation rather than having an inclination to feeling down all the time.
I am an optimistic person for many reasons. Being an optimist, to me, means an inclination to look at the most positive side of everything. We 've all heard the old example about if I have a glass of water, but the water stops at the middle of the cup. One of them includes having a better attitude than that of a pessimist. The better attitude can benefit a person in a multitude of ways such as a better mental, emotional, physical health, ability to commit to goals more, more success in achieving said goals, and can even help one be more satisfied with their life. Another benefit is that being an optimist means you’re more likely to bounce back from a bad situation. For example, an optimist getting lemons in life is no big deal because they’ll make the best darn lemonade you can make from the worst of lemons. Being more social is another benefit of optimism. The reason is that people tend to socialize and befriend those who are positive and give off a positive vibe rather than what negatives a pessimist would
