Although it does produce weaker bonds, there are still positive impactful aspects of social media. Social media of all kinds has become such an important part of society that looking at it in a negative way will only set them back. We as a society must push forward and continue to incorporate social media in more positive ways. Fallows argues to look over the Chinese values that has been set by the ancestors has to be change in order for this revolution to happen and also hopes to bring the ‘positive power’ of entrepreneurship through TV show . Fallows quotes about the positive aspects of traditional media, “For all of its defects, American TV generally has high production values— attractive people to look at, sets and staging that don’t seem homemade—and it is often the place where new ideas get their start, just before they become worldwide clichés.” (Fallows, 108). The ideas are born and get replicate through the help social media and technologies. In order to bring revolution in China is by creating an opportunity for the government to educate, motivate, and inspire the entrepreneurial talent through using traditional, social media is a revolutionary concept and as social media is no longer a tool for conversation. But it has become money spinning wheels for the entrepreneurs. Gladwell, on the other hand, talk about the weaker connections that have been formed by media but somehow that can also provide information we need. He quotes Mark Pfeifles’ point of view towards new tools of social media and why not to underestimated the power of technology to organize activists and drive the movement, “Without twitter the people of Iran would not have felt empowered and confident to stand up for freedom and democracy” (Gladwell,134). ...

However, despite the powerful social technologies at our fingertips, we are potentially more disconnected than ever before. Online friendships, while certainly valuable in many ways, lack the ability to provide us with opportunities for deep and lasting emotional closeness which is the key for the impactful activism. The fact that social networking is a rapidly changing field as its keep developing, and even after solving the question of how current social media affects human interaction, more questions will continue to arise as these sites continue to change. So the actual question remain is that the society, we live in, really ready to adapt these new social media technologies to its advantage while be aware of its disadvantages?
