If you ever heard the statement, “my teacher is out to get me,” I’m here to tell everyone that this is indeed true but not every teacher is. My teacher Stacy Oelson is a person who likes to add fuel to the fire although Mrs. McKeag tries to put it out, Stacey is a repeated liar but Mrs. McKeag is an honest individual, and Stacy has a mean streak and Mrs. Mckeag is a genuinely nice person. Stacey is a person that likes to add fuel to the fire by stirring up some drama while Mrs. McKeag likes to help things cool down. I had a situation that was bothering me one day, and I was very distant in my class. Mckeag noticed and asked me after class what was bothering me; I told her that some girl was starting problems with me involving the scum of society. She offered advice and told me that she would help in any way she could. I then got into an altercation with the girl and was sent to Stacey’s office. I told her what happened and explained that these group of guys and girls were being violent with me I was scared. I was a freshman in high school, and this group was in their 20’s that get their rocks off by beating up on younger kids. I told her what had happen in confidence, and for her not to tell Harley because she was the one who started it. I didn’t want it to get back to the same group that was giving me problems. I thought everything was going to be okay until later that day, I was walking on the main street bridge, Beefy and his crew stopped me and my friend he yanked us by our shirts and threatened to beat us with a baseball bat if I say anything else to Stacey. I found out that Stacey had indeed broke my confidence, and tattled on me to Harley. She knowingly put me in danger because she was acting like teen doing th... ... middle of paper ... ...ked them to go or held a gun over their heads and told them to skip class. I even told her to call my grandma so she could verify what happened that I even called in that I would be late. Stacey didn’t care she chose to believe her made up version on what happened. I was so pissed that I was the blame for my friends being late and I was the only one being suspended. She didn’t want to try to understand or care she just wanted someone to abuse her authority on. Teachers can be there for you and catch your fall while others can be the one pushing you down. Stacey Oleson was a drama whore while Mrs. Mckeag liked to problem solve, Stacey was a perpetual liar while Mrs. Mckeag was an honest, and Stacey was just a mean bitch although Mrs. Mckeag was a genuine person. Without Mrs. Mckeag I think my school year would have been hell knowing Stacey had a vendetta against me.
The ways she makes fun of me are unacceptable and would even annoy the most emotionless of students. First of all, she started a rumor that my new name was “Fathead” and even convinced the entire school. How would you feel if you were called that every day, huh? And to make things worse she goes beyond criticizing my outfits and just criticizes me in general. Even I know that some of you would be offended by these statements. You all need to hide your emotions soon before she bares her teeth and you and makes you her next victim, believe me.
Starting off, Laura betrays her students who she teaches. The students in her school love her and are enthusiastic about learning from her teaching. “Children [write] on the blackboard, ‘we lov ar ticher’” (Porter 1695). But Laura does not put all her commitment and passion to her teaching. As stated by Sister Mary Bride, “Even though she was a teacher, she had no love for the little children who crowded around her each morning with fervent greetings and festooned her desk with flowers. They ‘remain strangers to her’” (129). A teacher is supposed to love her children, to be part of them, and to focus in her children. With the lack of eagerness and dedication to accomplish her activities as a teacher, she is making less of herself and betraying her students.
g Hungry is the most natural thing in the world” - H.A Swain. Food waste and overpopulation caused the society to suffer. The solution to ending world hunger is taking the element of being hungry away from humankind.
Yes, we all know that one teacher who gives his/her all no matter what the case might be, but the old saying “one bad apple spoils the bunch” most definitely reigns true in this case. For example, there are teachers who do what they have to do in order to receive tenure and once they have it they feel
...e ftp . There was no intent to damage neither the school nor the students. The report of “boosting grades” doesn’t seem valid and the reporter’s evidence for such appears very weak. A brief look at other students’ grades in the teacher’s classes in previous semesters bears no evidence to the reporter’s claim. A statistical analysis is forthcoming which, I believe, will show this as well.
This vacuum of trust was fixed when both Erin and Jamie put their trust in their students. When the students realized that both teachers trusted their abilities and their attributes, the disciplinary problems started to wane. In ...
History has shown any room filled with self righteous pompous windbag men would have pronounced "We cannot have our teachers showing this lack of judgment to our young, impressionable children." The board most likely using the Principle and Superintendents recommendations would have fired her or at the very least sent her packing to another school with a reprimand for her unsavory
Teachers play a very important role in their student’s lives. Some would even argue that teachers have the greatest influence on their students, and while at young ages it is important for a teacher to only behave in a moral way, there comes a point when it is no longer a teacher’s job to teach his or her students how to function in society. This idea is supported in the movie Rope when two college students kill someone they deem as inferior, using their former professor’s words as their excuse. It is made abundantly clear through difference in demeanor between Brandon and Phillip and through their professor’s reaction upon finding David’s body in the final scene that the murder most likely would have transpired with or without Professor Rupert’s influence.
I preceded to apologize and explain the motives behind my actions. I told her that some of her classmates were teasing her about her hair standing up. Unfortunately, the mother was not receptive to my explanations. However, she immediately started shouting at me. She told me to shut my mouth. Also, she waved her fingers in my face. The step-mother said she don't care about the statements of her classmates. I backed away because the step-mother was invading my space by moving too close to me. I asked the headteacher (Ms. Reynolds) if I could be excused from the bathroom because I did not feel safe. The teacher agreed and continued to console the
6th grade was not all that bad. That is before the incident however. Going to school was fun for the most part, the classes were difficult, friends were plenteous, and the food was good. Life at Lancaster Country Day School was swell, again, before the incident. Now, said issue somewhat killed my image at the school and saved it at the same time; it also made me question others. Were my friends really my friends? Or did they use me to as a sick and twisted way to formulate drama? I had a friend. I had many friends really, I was friends with the whole 50 people in my grade. But this friend, this friend was different. Her name Mady Gosselin. Yes, the Mady Gosselin from Kate Plus 8. We had been close, I talked to her almost every day. However,
I was just getting back from an extremely fun vacation with my family when this all started. I was close to my friend’s aunt, Brenda. I’ve known her for about 6 years. We have all made great memories together. However, everything changed, for the worse. I’m not sure what inspired her hate for me, but it happened fast. I was confused and distraught about the situation. It only became worse when my friend told me Brenda was hateful towards me. Also, Brenda was calling me particularly offensive names. This only made me feel worse. Regrettably, the situation was getting worse, and I wasn’t doing anything about it, until now. Now, I was courageous and brave. I decided to fight against the pain instead of running away. I know myself, and I know I’m not a horrible person because one person hates me. I tell myself what she says doesn’t matter and isn’t true. To completely overcome this situation, I took matters into my hands. I cut her out of my life. This took a plethora of bravery. I was terrified to do it, but I did. Gratefully, it made me feel like my own hero. Now, it’s simply a
She may in turn be an oppressor to her students as she attempts to discipline these students while using aggressive teaching technique to get them to meet testing and other policy
she was more tough on us then our last principal but we still manage to have fun just not
She was the most caring and dedicated teacher I ever had and she respected every student as an individual. On the other hand, she had a very negative influence on my life. She is the person who told me there was no Santa Clause, which ruined Christmas for me for a very long time. Another person who has had a great influence on my life is Mr. Robinson. He was my first band teacher. He is the person who convinced me to join band, which
When thinking back and remembering all of the teachers that I have had in the past, there is one in particular that comes to mind. Her name was Mrs. Ladd. She taught math at the junior high school. Mrs. Ladd was not the most popular, funniest, hardest, easiest, nicest, nor the meanest teacher. I remember her
