“Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school” this quote by Albert Einstein states the importance of education, its influence on our daily lives and its power over all other devices. My teacher once asked me what’s easier, to remember or to forget? I answered confidently “to forget” but he made me realize I was wrong, I can never forget the alphabet “a” for example even if I try erasing it from my memory; moral of the story is that education will stay with you for the rest of your life.
In the past education was private were still no schools were build up and was mostly home schooling as for example Greece was one of the countries which had home schooling. In the past the student didn’t have any books but in the matter of fact there weren’t many student, they use to study in little camp, however the student had lack of transportation or didn’t have the needs to go to the camps. The teachers that had the qualification to teach were rare and hard to find at that time. Education expansion was difficult since there were no communication technique as people far apart were not being able to contact with skilled teachers. Education skills was mostly based on grammar. In India in Veda period was mostly based on (formulas, incantations Hymns), Vedic education included recitation and proper pronunciation as also the rules of grammar, composition, logic, sciences and skills. Females were not treated as males in olden days, males had the full freedom in their personal life’s this was mostly applied in the Arab gulf. 72 Million Child worldwide don’t attend school, 46% of them were males and 54% were females as shown in the pie chart.

In my opinion, it is the right of every child to be educated because a person without education is a person without anything. Education has evolved so much since the previous centuries and of course to the better which was not made possible without the help of technology and the funds raised. Technology motivated children towards education and made it more fun and entertaining. The ministry of education played a very important role in improving education.

Human rights to education are important to the right to a fair education. Article 26.2 which explains the human right to equality in education and states that (1) Everyone has the right to education. It shall promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace. In conclusion, education should most definitely be a right. Without it, we would have no clue as to what is going on. Very few people might get away without any education and become successful, but people that know and understand what they are doing may be more prone to becoming successful in life. Everyone needs more education than what they
...child has no legal status will do more good than harm in many cases. Education can elevate many children out of poverty and be able to contribute completely in the communities. A child should be allowed an education despite his/her legal status because education is power and power is the key to success. It should be a need of society because the more educated people in society the better. No child should be left without an education; every child is entitled to an education because it’s a basic human right, education would reduce illiteracy among the population because illiteracy deprives people of knowledge and power and education would benefit society because it will produce properly trained and motivated citizens. Many would say education is power and where there is no knowledge the people perish. Education must be granted to a child despite his/ her legal status.
world. One of the aspects that have been affected by those changes is, without any doubt,
Let me begin with a summary of what I am going to say. Cyberspace is a new kind of reality, in some crucial respects less real, but in some respects more real, than the space of face-to-face encounters and of physical documents. Signs in cyberspace might be quite unconnected to any real-life states of affairs, they might be quite abstract, but often they are much less abstract than, say, signs in a printed book. As I will endeavour to show, communication in the world of printed books is, characteristically, the communication of abstract meanings among members of an abstract society, such as a modern nation. The communication of knowledge in an interactive audiovisual medium is less dependent on an extended process of education in some national - i.e. literary - language than was the communication of abstract, typographical knowledge in earlier ages. Successful navigation in cyberspace does however presuppose some specific training leading to appropriate combinations of technical skills and literary skills, the latter normally encompassing both a rudimentary English and one's mother tongue. Working out how in fact such a combination of skills can be taught and acquired, and exploring the ways in which local communities can form a suitable learning environment, are the goals of an ongoing research program in Hungary; I conclude by sketching some essentials of this program.
In the United States, using a smartphone or tablet has been an unstoppable trend. According to the report from Pew Internet, in the United States, 56% of all adult population is smartphone user, 35% have cellphone, which is not a smartphone, and only 9% do not own any cell phone (Smith). At the same time, the tablet computer has been growing substantially since 2010, especially with the advent of Windows 8. Pew Internet shows that 34% of the United States adult population owns a tablet computer, representing a growth of more than 30% in three years (Zickuhr). Although these reports were based on the adult population, many children their own mobile devices. Such a device will provide them the accessibility to browse the Internet, listen to music, watch videos, play games both instantly and with unlimited quantity.
”Books will soon be obsolete in the schools...Scholars will soon be instructed through the eye. It is possible to touch every branch of human knowledge with the motion picture” (Thomas Edison). An idea that was destined for failure has now been made into the key source to get students and teachers more interacted while in a classroom setting. Tablets such as the iPad and the Microsoft surface have made this idea possible, showing students that there is another alternative to the traditional method which would be a printed version of the textbook. Tablets are portable computers that use a touchscreen as its primary input device, meaning that both keyboard and mouse are both physically located on the screen. Early Tablets were built to be used with a pen, today however tablets can be used with just one finger or multiple fingers with the support of multi touch input. Tablet have had a positive input on society especially students in school that are looking to get their work done in an engaging way and, not by moving a pen or pencil like it’s been done for decades. Tablets have proven to be the better tool for learning among students.
Education is the basic need of every individual. One can achieve maturity or growth in every aspect of life – social, economical, intellectual, physical, and mental through education. Development of a nation can occur only through its educated citizens. Every country strives hard to make all its citizens, educated. In India, Universalisation of Elementary Education (1950) was set up with an aim of educating all its citizens. During the past 60 years, we have achieved a tremendous growth in this field. Does this education reach all kinds of citizens- both abled and disabled with the same sort of empowerment? It is indeed a debatable issue. When some argue that everyone is provided with an education to
As more people began to access the Internet through smart phones and tablets rather than laptops and computers, it is not a surprise that they would also want to transform the American education system by bringing tablets into classrooms. In fact, a few schools around the country have already replaced textbooks with tablets and have seen improvements in students’ standardized test scores. Using tablets instead of textbooks is not only convenient and helpful, but it can also reduce the amount of paper wastes in school. However, it is not a good idea to completely transform textbooks with tablets with the current technology, for it can not only be damaging to the environment and costly to set up, but also might not be effective in improving K-12 education in the long run.
“We all know that education, more than anything else, improves our chances of building better lives” (Nelson Mandela). Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world and the most important factor for the expansion of human civilization. It provides people with manpower to cultivate national unity and uplifts public awareness. The best articles which discuss the importance of education is “Superman and me” by Sherman Alexie and “Malala Yousafzai”. They both start life in a poor family, and they both had an ordinary life. Alexie and Malala both changed their ordinary life’s into extraordinary life by the power of education. Considering the worlds today, similar to Alexie and Malalas background,
It is noticeable that the system of education is changing from time to time based on financial issues and how the world is growing. In the past, individuals taught the education system from the oldest member of the family to children, and their members were charging fees from the families that sent their children to them. Which meant that education was an important thing in all ages. Nowadays, the education is shaped to an official system run by professional people in governments and many countries invest high amounts towards education which makes evidence of how important it is in our current life. Every country has a different system of education based on their financial stability, government infrastructure and the standard of the government officials. It is noticeable that there is a big difference between the education in developing countries and the prevailing system in developed countries .In my essay I will discuss some reasons for these differences...
B.F. Skinner, an American psychologist, once said: ‘’Education is what survives when what has been learned has been forgotten’’. To clarify, Skinner defined education as acquiring unforgettable knowledge. Yet, the majority of the population considers education and school as synonyms even though anyone who has ever attended school is aware of its focus on remembering information rather than grasping the concepts into long-term memory. Furthermore, the education system can do more harm than good in regards to students’ mental health. Thus, integrating more psychological and sociological considerations in education practices will not only promote long-term academic success but also escalate equality and contribute to the generation of fitter
Education is the key that allows people to move up in the world, seek better jobs, and ultimately succeed fully in life. Education is very important, and no one should be deprived of it. The right to an education is one of the human natural rights which every person should have from youth to when they are old. Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world. Educating is when someone is train or instructed to improve their mind or character. Additionally education is essential for every one in which we can enlarge our knowledge over the world. Children have the right to be educated, educating children give them opportunity to have better future and also educating children help to reduce crimes. Therefore for this reasons I agree that children should be educated to benefit themselves, families and nation as a whole. This argumentative essay will discuss three points state above on why children should be educated.
Education is a elemental human right and essential for all other human rights. It is a powerful tool by which socially and economically marginalized children and adults can lift themselves out of poverty. It also consists of the right to freedom of education. Freedom of education is the right given to human beings to have access to the education of their preference without any constrictions. Right to education is a human right recognized by the United Nations. It includes the entire compulsion to eliminate inequity at all levels of the educational system.
