I have not always been this way; I use to be selfish, rude, irresponsible, constantly wanted to be the center of attention and never had a care in the world. I was spoiled rotten; I had three loving parents, my older brother, a puppy, and just about anything, I could have wanted. I thought I had a “perfect” life, one that topped everybody else. Little did I know that my world was about to be turned upside down. My mother became extremely ill all of a sudden. My brother, step-dad and I did not know what was wrong with her. As if those two procedures were not enough my mother also had hernia surgery a few years after she had Cameron and I. In addition, they too cut her on the same spot. Just when I thought that was, more than enough, turns out my mother also had a hysterectomy, and the previous doctors cut her yet again on that specific place. The outcome from being cut on the same spot so many times was a ton of built up scar tissue. Nonetheless, when the doctors did her hernia surgery they had to remove scar tissue at that time as well. Due to this situation, my mother ended up bed ridden for a few months. Before my mother was so ill that she had to be put on bed rest, she suffered for several months with the pain of her scar tissue. Somehow, she pushed through it like a veteran at war; she did not give up until all her strength was
