Responsibility means taking accountability for what we do, say, and think. Personal responsibility involves working on our own personality and abilities rather than blaming others for what happens. It means choosing to make our life follow our ethics and ambition. When you take all responsibility for your accountability, how you perform will improve, your relationships and partnerships will develop, people’s regard for you will expand, you will become a great role model, and your dignity will grow. If you must be held accountable at home by your parents, roommate or spouse, it will grow old fast and your relationships will crumble away. Holding yourself accountable is nothing more than following through with your commitments and responsibilities. It’s doing what you know you should do, when you should do it. It’s always a good idea to keep an ordered “To-Do” list and focus on holding yourself accountable to working through your tasks, not only does it help with your accountability, but it helps you figure out what you prioritize. Personal responsibility begins from the inside and moves outward. And the only way is by taking responsibility for our thoughts, choices, and reactions. Then we can be responsible for the circumstances we create in our world. We have the natural right of free will. We make conscious choices of spiritual living in a physical world. Conscious choice carries great responsibility. Every choice can benefit humanity or harm it. Even avoiding choices is a choice, and each choice will have consequences.
