The following personal reflection is based on how I would go about managing my work priorities and professional development. I will be asking and answering myself all of the important factors in my opinion that comes under managing my work priorities. My reflection will include factors that will ultimately help me become successful and achieve the best of my abilities. I believe becoming a good role model for my employees is required and plays a significant role in my professional development. A good role model doesn’t compare themselves to others. They compare themselves to the person they were yesterday. A good role model in my opinion is someone who has a strong passion for their work and the employees they influence. A good role model has a clear set of values, demonstrates confidence with intelligence and is humble. Being a role model gives you the ability to infect others with your dedication and passion. They must be knowledgeable but at the same time accept accountability, demonstrating that mistakes can be made and how to rectify them.

So how would I ensure I am a role model? To ensure that I act as a role model for my future employees or for anyone in my presence, I would treat everyone the way I would like to be treated… with respect. I will constantly practice and undertake as many learning opportunity as possible to improve myself. I will motivate everyone equally avoiding creating any favourite employees. A way to ensure I acted as a role model can be showing other employees that mistakes can be made. Asking for feedback and any suggestions would be useful, this is because there is always room for improvement, and I would like to know whether my employees are comfortable and give them an opportunity for their opini...

I like to find ways that can make managing my work and organising life simpler. Incorporating technology into my life and work is definitely my preferred way of organising and managing my work. I use technology by creating schedules and digital calendars. These tools help manage appointments and meetings with the benefits of having useful features such as having automatic reminders and alerts to ensure nothing is forgotten. Using applications with technology also gives you the advantage of sending invitations and messages instantly. I would use technology for storage purposes, which will give me the advantage of eliminating papers. Research and information also becomes readily available using technology which will help me solve any issues, cutting my tasks in half, this will give me a needed productivity boost.
