The wind was blowing and the sky was a clear, crystal blue. The pearl black 2005 mercedes model S500 is driving down the road. It is in decent shape. It has a few hairline scratches on the driver 's side door, needs a car wash from winter salt on its sides and mud on its tires, but it 's no big deal. It’s no big deal because that 's my car, the approximate date is March 10th 2015, even though it feels like that day never came. That morning I went to school got home, went to the gym and at this point I had just finished going out to eat with a friend (who’s name will forever remain anonymous purely for the fact I never wanted them to feel guilty since they made me drive. I began my journey home down the snake like road. It was almost like the road slithered as you drove around it. The road was wet which was strange since it had rained two nights before. Guess god was playing a cruel trick on me that day, now that I think about it. Anyway, two minutes into my journey I realized I was late home. I had to be home before 10 to bring my little brother to football. I accelerated from 40 to 60 on a road with a speed limit of 50; dumb of me right who would think to drive that fast. On a road that slithered like a snake, it wrapped around and around a downward hill. On top of all this it was drenched with rain from a few hours before. Four minutes into the journey I 'm halfway through the road. That’s when it happened when I made a slight right turn, when it jumped out. It jumped out from the left side of the road a deer with bright crimson gold fur. Looking back on it I shouldn’t have done any of what I had done but I shouldn’t have done this.
I have always loved driving since I was a child. Being that I come from a family whose bread an...

...e, young man dies in car crash. For some odd reason I clicked it open reading more in depth the man that had died had died in my town. Looking more into the story the man had died in the same town, the same road and the same spot I had crashed. Later on that week I found out what exactly had happened apparently the man had gone off road flying into the ditch I had and hitting the same pole I had. Instead of the pole just stopping the car it came out of the ground and crushed the car with him inside. I can’t help but think truly how lucky I was that day and how god, an angel, a family member, or anything had looked after me while I crashed. I realized from the crash just how valuable every second of our lives are. Also how twisted our faiths can be. We should all enjoy life because we never know when our time will come and when you may draw the short end of the straw.

The Effects Of Reckless Driving On The Road Conditions Essay

- “The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status, or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside, we all believe that we are above-average drivers” -Dave Barry, comedian. Savages of the Road Essay

- ... Strangers have no reputations, and less guilt” (Kinosian 550). Forni makes a good point. This woman did not know me personally and we will probably never see each other again, so why not act a little crazy. There are many actions drivers take that show a neglect for manners besides the one told in my story. Some drivers pull out in front of you and act like they did nothing wrong. This drives me insane. It takes a lot to slow down and not hit someone when they pull out in front of you. It is not your job to watch traffic off to the side; they should be paying attention and be considerate enough to wait until it is clear and then pull out onto the road....   [tags: road rage, civility while driving]
