Ever since the case of Roe v. Wade in 1973, abortion has been one of the most contentious issues in our society. Abortion of a child is a controversial topic with many viewpoints, pros and cons that never settle its ground. It’s like a never ending argument but which side should people really look into. Over 1.3 million abortions are done yearly in the United States. How would you feel if someone decided that you should never get a chance at life? Especially if the one deciding would be the one who has created you. Influence of a partner on abortion has lead to those millions of deaths to rise. How strong is the influence of one on another to commit such a strong decision for abortion? Prior to confirming abortions, women mostly have a few reasons to do so. They say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or other responsibilities; they cannot afford a child; and don’t want to have problems with their husband or a partner. Around 1 percent involves rape. As to killing a baby fetus so that it doesn’t interfere with your work or school is quite redundant to mention. There are many places where you can place your baby for the time matter. Many schools even have day cares for children. Raising a child for many families will come up to a large paycheck thus might be hard for some, even thou government often supports low income families with children. But the main focus of this paper will be the women who proceed to mention their “partner” as a main source of committing abortion. Woman’s reproductive decisions are hers alone. But men can often resort to violence. Men- boyfriends, husbands, often hold a huge role as to whether or not their partner will ... ... middle of paper ... ... the age there in. Thou many times it is their partner who influences the mother to have an abortion. They have many ways to persuade future moms and as a result they kill an unborn child. Numbers would have been way lower if husbands and boyfriends wouldn’t do such actions. Number would of defiantly fall under a million abortions a year. Abortion is a serious issue and a lot of thinking should be performed prior of having the procedure done. Works Cited "Facts About Abortion: U.S. Abortion Statistics." Abortion, which is defined as a deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, is one of the most controversial issues in society. Many people believe that abortion is unethical and morally wrong, while others believe that it is a woman’s right to decide what to do with her body. According to www.census.gov, “the number of abortions performed annually in the U.S. has leveled off at 1.2 million a year” (1). This statistic supports how many women are choosing abortion. Although abortion is legal in the United States, many people continue to voice their opinions on how it is a human rights violation and should be illegal everywhere.
Abortion may be one of the most controversial topics in America today. Abortion is defined as “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus” (cite dictionary). There are really only two sides on people’s opinion on abortion; pro-life which means abortion should be outlawed and pro-choice which means a woman should be able to decide whether she wants to keep her baby. Thousands of protests and riots have begun due to the fact pro-life activists believe abortion should become illegal. Both sides bring valid points to support their decision that could sway any person’s thoughts. The Roe v. Wade law has allowed abortion to be legal in the U.S since 1973 (Chittom & Newton, 2015). The law “gives women total control over first trimester abortions and grants state legislative control over second and third trimester abortions” (Chittom & Newton, 2015). Ever since the law was put in place, millions of people have tried to overturn it and still

In the past decades, women did not have their freedom of abortion in many countries of the world. There have always been controversies going on about abortion. Each individual has dissimilar views on the legality of abortion. Some people are against abortion for personal religious purposes and beliefs. For those who don’t believe in abortion, it is because they see it as killing a fetus, which is a human being. Others support abortion because they believe in women’s rights. Laws of abortion vary in each country, and abortion is not legal all over the world. It is illegal under any conditions but only permitted to save woman’s life if in countries such as Brazil, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates, and Ireland. However, abortion is legal without any restrictions in countries like Canada, Albania, and Italy. It the past decades Abortion was considered as criminal act in Canada. “If an abortion was carried out without such approval, the woman was liable for imprisonment for 2 years, an...

There are many limitations valued when it comes to the right of abortion. The news media still outlines the pros and cons of anti-abortion rights in certain-states-to soon, the entire country. My perspectives on the issue of abortion have been entitled from it to never be banned among citizen’s rights. The reproduction of pregnancy has been emphasized heavily on a mother’s decision to abort their child, but the father of the child plays an active role since he considers to that particular title. Through this current issue, majority of the people against abortion do not seem to have an open mind to how much it primarily affects the decision of the mother amongst her own views of considering abortion.
One of the most disputed subjects into day’s society is abortion. Children have been sacrificed by millions of women all across the world. There’s always a powerful urge to vindicate the suffering, emotional pain, and deprivation by the mother and her significant other. It is almost unanimously agreed upon that the right to life is the most important and sacred right possessed by human beings. With this being said, it comes as no surprise that there are few issues that are more contentious than abortion. Others, on the opposite end of the spectrum, see abortion as a liberty and a simple exercise of the right to the freedom of choice.
