Personal Reflection of Goals and The Implementation Developed to Reach Them

I am currently a charge nurse in a large facility consisting of an independent living section, memory unit, and assisted living. It keeps me busy and I also have the opportunity to interact with families, doctors, other nurses, and the management. My goal from here is to acquire my BSN and then apply for a job in the nursing management for example; Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant DON. At the same time, I know that to attain many goals in nursing and to continue climbing the ladder I must continue to advance in my education. I well understand that experience plus education help one achieve great goals in life (Nagelkerk, 2005).
