In the past few months, Hillary Clinton has drawn widespread attention to her campaign, due to the fact that she is a criminal. Conflicts arise when Hillary’s many scandals are brought up. However, the most known is Clinton’s Benghazi email scandal. This is a case where Hillary deleted over 30,000 emails. In this article, Impeach Her, the author describes the many scandals Hillary has been involved in, and why she should be impeached for it. Hillary should be impeached and charged for the actions taken.
It is time for a new presidential election, and Hillary Clinton is striving to be the first woman president in the history of America. However, Clinton generates many problems within the citizens of America. Reportedly, Clinton deleted over

That was definitely the case with Hillary. Money and power can go a long way, and that is exactly how Clinton evaded federal charges. Over time, many sketchy things with this case took place. For example, Clinton retained an attorney general, then out of nowhere was questioned by the F.B.I. Shortly after her questioning, Clinton was cleared. The fact that Hillary was questioned after an attorney general, that was out to get her, was detained. However, that is not the only suspicious thing Clinton has recently done. During the time of her scandal, Clinton set up an unlawful non-government communication system. This allowed her to evade any federal disclosure. At the end of the day, Clinton is released with no charges. The F.B.I released a statement noting that her email must have been hacked by hostile foreign operatives. With all the ways the F.B.I has taken her side, the most prominent is the pass she received from Director Comey. The pass from Comey allows her to be safe from being exposed about the email scandal until after the election in November. In her case all the F.B.I is doing is covering up her case. They make it seem as she is an innocent candidate, who had her email account hacked. It is easy to say money and power can get one a long way in this world. If the right thing is done following the election in November, then Clinton will be impeached for email …show more content…
It is not right for a group, that is supposed to make the world a better place, to allow someone like Hillary to walk away free. An example of this is how McCarthy touches up on the conclusion to the email case. The F.B.I released a statement stating that Clinton had been hacked by foreign operatives. The fact that they said this goes to show how they are working to cover up what really happened. Clinton and the F.B.I are way too close, and this could lead to serious consequences. With the relationship they have, it is easy to say Hillary Clinton is corrupt. Despite her relationship with the F.B.I, Clinton also uses her power in the government to evade being charged with any federal crime. McCarthy nails the fact that Clinton uses her power to her advantage. Through examples, he calls Hillary out and proves the fact that she is abusing her power. The fact that she uses her government level to avoid arrest is another reason why Clinton should be punished. The first example of power abuse goes with her retaining the attorney general. This attorney general was out to get Clinton, and randomly she was retained. However, that is not the strangest part. During the retainment of this attorney general, Clinton was questioned and cleared. The fact that all this happened while the attorney general was retained waves orange flags. That was not the only way she used her
“The view on Presidents being above the law has changed more in those four years than it has ever” (Bradford 18). America no longer views the President of the United States as above the law, and for the most part neither do the Presidents. Today a President would not even think about creating secret groups whos main purpose is to blackmail or threaten. Watergate helped form America as a better country and have better checks on Presidents.
To summarize this analysis, Hillary Clinton shows us how as we unite, the stronger our bond is. She uses clever ways to show this action. Though she did not win this presidential election, she is still loved by many. She helped herself because of the way she wrote and persuaded people to join her. Using rhetorical appeals
It was clear that the Republicans were out to get former President Clinton, when the Whitewater case emerged. Republicans were desperate to find Clinton guilty of covering up financial impropriety in his Arkansa invenvestments prior to becoming president. When speacial prosecutor Robert Fiske Jr. turned up no evidence, Republicans demanded his removal. Kenneth Starr was appointed the position. He began an open-ended inquiry into every corner of Clinton’s life. Clinton was ultimetly found not guilty.
However according to Jones, the incident did not end with Clinton’s presidency; there were lingering effects. She claimed that once Clinton became the President, she was defamed by various person authorized to speak for President Clinton, who denied that the incident ever occurred and branded her a liar (Motos, 1998).
Out of all of the current presidents in our time the most interesting president to explore was President Richard Nixon and out of all of them he was the only one in term to resign. That Richard M. Nixon, President of the United States, is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, and that the following articles of impeachment to be executed to the fullest extent of their nature. His poor choices and decisions led to his resignation. Although he did have some good qualities in helping the U.S. the bad however override the good. In the CRS (Congressional Research Service) It states: “ Obstruction of justice is the impediment of governmental activities. There are a host of federal criminal laws that prohibit obstructions of justice. The six most general outlaw obstruction of judicial proceedings (18 U.S.C. 1503), witness tampering (18 U.S.C. 1512), witness retaliation (18 U.S.C. 1513), obstruction of Congressional or administrative proceedings (18 U.S.C. 1505), conspiracy to defraud The United States (18 U.S.C. 371), and contempt (a creature of statute, rule and common law). Simple perjury in a federal investigation or judicial proceedings carries an extensive fine and up to 5 years in prison.” This was the first article president Richard M. Nixon was charged with by the House of Judiciary Committee. The vote was 27 to 1 for Nixon to be charged with the first article of impeachment, which was Obstruction of Justice. In denial of his liability in part taking in the Watergate scandal by saying he wasn't involved in the scandal He pointed finger at others that were involved in the break-in. However, tapes were found of conversations that proved his involvement and he was going to be impeached. Before he was charged, he made a resignat...
I personally think that both Clinton and Johnson should have been fully impeached. They did things that a President should never do. I believe that both Clinton and Johnson should have been removed from office. Presidents should never have sexual relations with co-workers or violate
Hillary Clinton is an important character in the impeachment process and the sex scandal in general. As Bill Clinton’s wife, she is the most personally involved with the President, as well as the most personally involved in the subject matter involved with the impeachment. Since Bill Clinton’s wrong-doings stem from sexual misconduct, as his wife, Hillary Clinton has an extremely great involvement. Due to her great involvement in this personal matter, the public audience seems to associate their thoughts with her own (34% of the public thought that the scandal was a personal matter as long as Hillary Clinton was fine with it [U.S. News]). Meaning, the public feels that if Bill Clinton’s sexual affairs are accepted by Hillary, then they should be accepted by the country as well. It is important to look at how Clinton gets her points, what her motives are in doing so, and where her motives stem from because she is so influential regarding the President’s image. It is also important to look at the sexual misconduct between the President and Ms Lewinsky, as well as Hillary’s decision to support her husband, from the First Lady’s situation since women and their concerns are often forgotten when analyzing political discourse.
The reader learns, in depth, that Senator Clinton is an intellectual, a voracious reader, a policy expert, a strong advocate for the poor, a guardian of children, a clever politician, an outstanding American citizen, a committed mother, a dedicated wife, and a never-say-die woman who seeks power without apology. That which may be new to the reader, however, is the profound impact Hillary's family and upbringing had on her political beliefs and eventual political career, which has made her into somewhat of a celebrity in the American culture.
Impeachment is “ a criminal proceeding instituted against a public official by a legislative body.” (Impeachment). This does not mean automatic removal from office, which is a common misconception. the article goes on to explain how in the United States, the reason impeachment is so rare at the presidential level is because it is quite a long process and keep the Congress occupied for months; due to this impeachment in only employed in the gravest of circumstances. Furthermore, it is not just presidents or federal officials who can be impeached, as 49 states (all but Oregon) have an impeachment procedure in place. Impeachment is considered to be an important part of the checks and balances that make the US government unique, however due to the complicated and time consuming process it is.
While Watergate was an important part of United States history, and a cautionary tale for current day politicians, it would seem that many have already forgotten that anonymous money corrupts political campaigns. Nixon kept numerous illegal donations hidden; he didn't just cover up a burglary, his re-election campaign staff received millions of dollars in secret contributions from prominent American companies, much like today’s politicians. For example, Hillary Clinton took a large contribution from the fossil fuels industry which ultimately devalued her statement about a “commitment to moving away from fossil fuels, and towards renewable energy.” Freedom of Information was also a recurring topic in the recent election, and was brought up in relation to Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. Clinton was found to have a private server upon which there was tens of thousands of private emails. Many people questioned why they could not view the non classified documents Hillary sent and received, and cited that it was against the Freedom of Information Act. Nixon’s former speech writer said “This is like the Nixon tapes in a sense…everybody wanted
A couple weeks ago, I was sitting on the hallway waiting for my class to start when I heard a couple commenting about politics. Immediately their conversation caught my attention; I am always curious to know what other people think about the topic and their reasoning behind it. As it was expected, Hillary Clinton came up during their debate. To the mere mentioning of the name, one started to giggle, arguing that how was she supposed to be a president and control a nation when she cannot even control her husband or at least make him happy. Clinton should be so mean and so frigid that Bill did not have other choice but to commit infidelity. I was perplexed after having heard such theories. She did not ask to be betrayed, yet she was guilty
Hillary Clinton is running a campaign for a GOP nomination, in which much of her support is based on her persona as an advocate of women’s rights. Depictions of Clinton’s projected image have little basis in fact. While she is not overtly misogynistic or racist like other politicians who are running for presidency, her actions as a policymaker have had the same devastating impacts to non-white women locally in America and abroad as her male peers. Though Clinton is one of the first women to run for presidency and be taken seriously (which certainly is to due to white privilege), she still condones foreign policies that destroy the lives of women around the world.
Executive privilege has been around since Washington’s first term in office as the first official president of the United States. During Washington’s presidency he set the stage for the use of executive privilege that will evolve over time into something far greater than its initial purpose. Clinton and Nixon utilized executive privilege in a greater sense than Washington, and later Jefferson. They used executive privilege to cover up their wrongdoings and illegal activities. The outcome of the Nixon trial led to the official acknowledgment of executive privilege as a power allotted to the president and other executive officials, but it also noted that the power of executive privilege does not override the need of key information in a criminal investigation.
Article II is establishes the second branch out of the three branches of government, the executive branch. Establishes the office of the President and Vice-President, their terms are four years. The president would be elected by the most votes, and the Vice President had the second most votes, it was changed later on. The president must be at least 35 years old, and been born there as a resident of the United States. The president can pardon criminals, make treaties, and choose judges and other government officials, but with the approval of the senate. It discusses the process of impeachment for those who “treason, bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. Article III discusses the last branch of government, which is the judicial branch.
On August 17, 1998, exactly one year after making the statement above, President Bill Clinton prepared to deliver a speech concerning a scandal that had gripped the nation for months. It is needless to say that this was an important moment during the Clinton administration. After accusations of sexual harassment, Clinton addressed the nation and admitted to having a relationship with Monica Lewinsky. In this critical speech Clinton set out to admit to wrong-doings, provide a few reasons for his action, and ultimately persuade the audience into moving on and forgetting the scandal. This essay will break down his speech into sections and examine the most and least effective strategies that Clinton employed and how well he executed those strategies. This is an interesting speech given under rare circumstances. Not since Watergate had an American president been under such harsh moral criticism from the public. By looking critically at this speech we are able to gain valuable insight into Clinton's motives.
