Three Day Diet Analysis Nutrition is needed by everybody. It is the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth. The United States Department of Agriculture created a ChooseMyPlate.gov to help individuals choose wisely regarding their diets. Unfortunately, many individuals still do not know how to choose a well-balanced diet and I am guilty of that. Healthy eating is not about strict dietary limitations, staying unrealistically thin or depriving ourselves of the foods that we love. Rather, it is about feeling great, having more energy, improving our outlook, and stabilizing our mood (Healthy Eating). Maintaining a healthy diet and weight can help prevent and avoid certain major or minor health problems. Some Preparing foods ahead of time can help me monitor what I eat especially when it is home cooked meal instead of take-out foods which can have many preservatives added to it. I can also make my diet simple by not thinking too much of counting the calories but basing it in color, freshness or variety. I can do that by avoiding foods that I know that are packaged and processed. I will also begin to read the food labels. It is important to every individual to be aware of what is in the food that we are eating. Often times, manufacturers hide ingredients that are high in sugar or any other added preservatives that are not healthy. These “bad” ingredients can also be found on foods that can be labeled as “healthy,” that is why it is very important to be aware of these secret ingredients on the labels. Drinking plenty of water can help flush away toxins in the body and prevent dehydration. It can also help an individual to stay full especially when drinking water first thing in the morning. Eating breakfast in the morning is a good way to start the day because it gives an individual energy to start the day. It is important in eating with moderation. Frequent small meals can help keep the diet balance instead of indulging a big three meals. The key to eating healthy and maintaining the ideal weight is to stay motivated and keep it simple. Eating at night should be avoided. Some people I know try to avoid eating after 6 in the evening. Studies suggest that eating only when you’re most active and giving your digestive system a long break each day may help to regulate weight (Healthy Eating). One thing that I love doing is making smoothies. It is also a good way to get the servings of fruit and vegetable needed in one smoothie drink. I also add some chia seeds to it which makes it
