As the years come and go, new fashion styles and trends sets the standards for the rising generation. Clothing that may be the style now may be out of the trend tomorrow and with ongoing changing looks, the standard rules and procedures in public schools may need to be shifted as well. With new laws being established and new fashion styles being sold in stores, it is making it difficult for students to follow the guidelines that haven’t been adjusted in today 's criteria. Therefore, as new styles are being created the children should be able to express themselves through fashion and corporate with the school guidelines and rules without being told what is acceptable or not in today 's society. It is important to realize, that punishing a child, who expresses themselves through fashion, is being labeled as provocative and sexual because of how society makes women appear. For instance, woman is known as exploiting their bodies as a sexual appeal, beauty, and attraction to male figures. These women are known to expose their bodies to the public and do jobs that grab men’s attention. These women wear less clothing that reveal parts of their body that should be covered up. However, the school is relating young girls, who do not disclose their bodies to the public, unlike these females who constantly treat themselves as objects, as if they were in the same category. As the school system continue to report young girls about the way they dress it will seem as the school’s priority is to create an ideal learning habitat for boys while ignoring factors that may help girls learn.
Moreover, gender affects how the dress code should be applied to certain types of students. In addition, young people who don’t conform or challenge gender norms can also be easily targeted. Therefore, addressing girls’ clothing on what is acceptable on each female lowers their self-esteem, causes depression, and distracts them from actually gaining an education often overlooked, is when students begin to grow, they begin to find themselves and a place where they belong. For this reason, everyone is distracted. From the latest gossip in school to what is the latest fashion trend. There are tons of excitement, new crushes, new friends, and the school experiences all together. In short, all the children 's bodies are changing, it 's not just boys that are distracted, and the school administration needs to account everyone for the dress codes not singling out just
