Capital Punishment is the act of executing a person by legal process as punishment to committed crimes. The act of capital punishment has been around ever since the birth of civilization, even though the method had change throughout the centuries but the idea is still the same, it is a way of punishment for heavy offended crimes. On average, the rate of murder in Thailand are five to ten (5-10) people in an inhabitant of one hundred thousand (100,000) people per year, so if you do the math you will see that approximately three thousand one hundred and fifty to six thousand three hundred (3,150 – 6,300) murder acts occur each year in Thailand. (Thaiskale.com) This number may not seem so high compare to the population of Thailand, but if the figure is looked in another angle in can be concluded that there are three to six thousand murderers on the loss throughout Thailand each year, and by having them behind bars or executed make Thailand seem like a safer place. However, many people are against the very idea of capital punishment, they believe that it is wrong to take a life even if that life committed horrible crimes, this controversial dispute had sparked from the beginning of the modern world as you and I know it and it is continuously being kindle by both side of the argument and will survive throughout the generation. Capital punishment is needed in the cruel and scary world of that we live-in today, it is a mean of punishing wrong doer of repulsive crimes such as rape and murder or otherwise they will just roam free to recommit the same crime or worst stay in prison that are paid for by us tax payer. ...ave been eradicated from the world, but because it works and always has worked, capital punishment is here to stay, it is here to clean our cities, it is here to punishes the bad, it is here to make the world safe, it is a mean of maintenance. If there was no capital punishment there would be no harsh way to punish the criminals, they would be encourage to commit crime as there is no real punishment to deter them. With capital punishment, it will eventually lower the murder rates and other drug related offences, which will in turn clean up the streets and make the world a better place to live for current and future generation. As one last note for though why it is acceptable for a doctor to sentence a cancer patient to death without having committed any crime but unacceptable for a judge to sentence a criminal to death for having committed a dreadful crime?
