Although, the CCSS has many challenges in regards to ELL students it can demonstrate a potential benefit in the sense that they are learning in a different structure. The CCSS can help student explore different methods of learning away from the traditional way of learning.

Although, CCSS may have both positive and negative impact on ELL learning the overall objective does have good intension in regards to building students educational level. With ELL student having the difficulty keeping up with the material can eventually increase the educational gap for minorities. The CCSS in theory does sound as a method that can work when the standards are able to meet all type of students needs, but in the United States, a country extremely culturaly diverse it faces a challenge that is does not. The lack of cultural diversity can cause challenges for minoirties that are not at the proper English capapbility.
