I took the online personality assessment and was given the combination of letters: INFJ. Since I have taken this test before, I know that means I am identified as having an Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging personality type. My temperament is identified as an Idealist, a Counselor. (www.personalitypage.com) Needs work I will review each of those briefly below.
The first letter stands for Introvert. As a child I was most assuredly an Extrovert. As I got married young, moved 500 miles away from home and found myself juggling both college full-time and a full-time job, I quickly became an Introvert and have never looked back. There are times when I wish I was more extroverted again, I think it is perceived better in the workplace, but my comfortability is simply not there. This is a personal area of development that I am currently working on.
The second letter stands for Intuitive. Whether I have always followed it or not, I have been aware of since my teenage years that I have a strong intuition...

This is something I wish I had known much earlier, but I intend to work on it going forward. Being a good employee means thinking like a good boss too and I want to strive to be exemplary in both of those areas. Well put
In Conclusion, the Myers-Briggs test is a wonderful tool for both employers and employees. I think it should be mandatory at least once in everyone’s career. I have found it to be invaluable in both my professional life and my personal life. As I continue to learn and grow, I hope to always stay aware of my strengths and weaknesses as well as the strengths and weaknesses of those I am working with. If everyone could strive to be that same way, what a more unified and successful group of organizations we would have.
