This reflective report presents the important elements that I have encountered over the course of my studies at Brighton while undertaking my MSc in Public Service degree. Together with the important elements, the reflective report describes the experiences I have gone through as a student and further provides an evaluation of the experiences. Most importantly, it is apt to indicate that most of the knowledge and skills acquired in the course has been a result of interactions with my environment.

First, the idea of working in teams as a group is a new experience that I had never encountered and it has helped me achieve different experiences throughout the course. The fact that each group had specific goals to achieve highlighted the vital role of teamwork towards achieving different goals within an organisational and individual context. Secondly, I have learnt to appreciate the value of diversity when working in groups especially in relationship to the courses that an individual team member studied. As a student undertaking a public service management course, I have gained from the diversity of other group members undertaking human resource management, international management, and general management courses. While the mix appeared strange at the beginning, I must say that interacting with this diverse group of students has helped me gain significant knowledge in management and leadership since each course has its unique characteristics and a combination of the characteristics provides a unique experience that is rich in knowledge and skills needed for real life practice. Besides this experience, I have tremendously improved my communication skills with exposure to different cultures further helping me to improve these
