After reflecting on my Strengths and weaknesses that I addressed in my SWOT analysis I tried to come up with three goals that would push me to my career goal. I plan to get my doctorate in economics so that I may be a college professor. I was concerned with the time it would take to get my degree, but time has passed and I am no longer worried. I even visited the Advising center to clarify my degree plan and review the recommended courses. Community college is just a stepping stone. My eyes are set on A&M University and I plan to transfer in the fall semester of 2016. Considering my plan it was simple to see the requirements and push myself even harder by setting even higher goals. I decided that I will: transfer with at least a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher by the fall semester of 2016 so that I will meet all transfer student requirements and easily make it into the liberal arts program, In the time I am school I will work a total of 30 hours or more a week half in my work study program for the GED center and the other half for my parents at Glass Doctor so that I may pay off my truck before I transfer to college station, and I will work out an hour every week day by running a mile beforehand and then doing various free weights such as squat and bench-press then also 10 minutes of core.

So looking at the future I want I can’t predict anything but I can plan what I will be doing t...

...stakes. I want to be a professor though so I’m going to do what it takes and make the marks it requires. My second is my financial goals. I know I’m going into debt by going to college. Yet having a truck I own and having money in savings is comforting. I need to make another goal to focus on scholarships more. My last goal is all about my health though. It is so I am happy and so I can feel good. I’m used to being healthy and working out so it’s not a change, but I want to set it in stone so I never forget about it. My life is what I make it so I want to be like a Boy Scout and always “be prepared” and also follow my morals and faith through it all. I want these goals to mean something not to anyone else, but me that I am going to do the best I can. College will only be as hard as I let it be. If I put forth the effort I can easily become a professor like I want to.
