My Philosophy of Education
Nikki Ash the creative( I love any activities that will bring out students’ creativity.) Every student has a diverse learning style. I believe that students should learn in a safe, caring, and understanding environment. As professional educators, we should provide this safe and open-minded environment. The ways to ensure this environment is to make sure students are actively involved in their education, to make sure teachers are providing the best materials for students to learn, and to make sure parents and the community are involved in students education. First, I believe the main role of schools in society and the main role of education is to provide students with the knowledge they need for the future. The schools provide this education by having productive teachers who guided students and also provide diverse ways to teach their students. The schools are an important part of our society because they also provide the students with skills they need to move forward in

Students need to be actively involved in the classroom by asking questions and participating in classroom activities. The students is also responsible for doing homework. If the student does not complete homework or school assignments then they are hurting themselves. The teacher can encourage students to do their work and also hold them out of activities till they do their work. This still will not help at home the students have to be responsible enough to do their homework. Students also need to be paying attention in class and participating in the class activities. The students will learn best when they are actively engaged in the lesson. Students are the most important part of education. Students are why schools are here. The most important part of education is to make sure students are learning and are able to apply the skills they learn. Students are the main focus of
What is the purpose of education? A question that has been asked for centuries and defined in many ways; each theorist will argue their views on education is unsurpassed, yet it remains a question, that the future of our children depends upon. My personal philosophy of education is to create an environment that allows every child the freedom and ability to discover, create and pursue their interests; ultimately becoming the best they can, for an evolving and unpredictable future. Within this framework, the purpose being to encourage learning through children’s interests, by personalising education for the individual and interlacing subjects to engage and entice learning. While discussing my personal philosophy of education, I will explain the aim of education, consider the role of the teacher and the learner and present effective teaching methods and practices for within the classroom. This essay will demonstrate that Dewey, Friedman, Neill, Noddings, Robinson, and Zhao, support my personal philosophy and prove in contrast with the theories of Skinner and Rousseau.
Growing up, I have always known that I wanted to work in the education field. I believe helping students learn and grow is my purpose in life. I believe the purpose of education is to see students develop and grow. I believe the role of the student is to come to school and learn new information that they can apply to their lives. I believe the role of the paraprofessional is to be the assistant for the teacher and provide assistance to the students. I believe the community plays a major role in education, especially the parents and guardians. They are a part of their child 's education and provide support for them when they need it most. Education is not going away anytime soon, so we need to look at what education
When I was 6 I thought knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. Even though I grew up surrounded by girls who wanted to be princesses, ballerinas, and pop stars I was sure in my decision to be a doctor. My grandma had told me stories about her experiences with school, and how she struggled practically all her life to obtain her profession. She was expected to become a mother or possibly be a secretary. This did not entice her, so defying all odds, she broke the standards and exceeded societal expectations as she obtained bachelors, and master’s degrees- becoming a registered Nurse Practitioner. Her incredible achievements had me seeking nothing more than to follow her footsteps in awe.
As individuals who will one day become the future of their own community, the importance of them receiving an education increases. Public schools are places where people are given the chance to learn. The ability to learn, improve, and explore different areas is innate. As children, we learn to speak and walk at a young age. As children mature, they learn more words and processes. These skills that we learn are a part of us and therefore are part of our basic rights. Public schools become the place where individuals are presented with the opportunity to explore new areas to find what they enjoy and learn about those particular areas to a point where they become experts at their field.
I also believe that I must encourage students to advocate for themselves and develop healthy learning habits. While it is important for teachers to provide for students and service them, students must also be responsible for their own learning as much as possible. Essentially, the teacher and student must reciprocate their own understanding in order to provide the best education opportunity. The teacher should present the material in a way that is both engaging and comprehensible, and well as provide assistance whenever appropriate. On the other side of this, the student should take their learning into their own hands and become self-directed learners. This leads to another belief of mine: that it is the goal of the teacher...
The question is asked, what can we do to make them (students) feel OK? Educators must strive to build bonds of respect with the students. Teachers provide the basis for motivation with the environment inside the classroom. We must pull students into challenges and lead them to success regardless of the obstacles. The activities provided in the classroom must capture the imagination of the students in order to stay focused. The activities must be challenged the perfect way in order to stretch the minds of the students. When mistakes are made, we must become a coach to provide the reinforcement they need. The coach in us provides demonstration of knowledge and we train ourselves to think about new skills we have obtained. As educators we must always push students to succeed academically. These conditions the author discusses allow schools to become more intentional about student motivation.
Curiosity in the classroom, independent thinking, and sense of responsibility are the missing purpose of education that will allow students to get more out of school than just plain information. Education can only work when educators know what the student needs and students know what they want. Educators and students are in a relationship somehow thing will work out as long as neither side give up.
I believe that there is a body of important knowledge and skills that all students need to know. Schools should provide sound instruction that is aimed at preparing students to live life and comply with society’s accepted standards and need for order.
Education is a very important aspect of our lives. It is our education that makes us who we are and determines what we become. Therefore, education is not something to be taken lightly. As a teacher, my goal will be to provide the best possible education for my students. Every student is unique. I must see students for who they are individually and respect their ideas and opinions. Each student has a different learning style. I must take this into consideration because I want to provide a constructive learning opportunity for every student. I believe that every student has the potential to learn.
Students come to school from different cultural backgrounds and with different learning styles. In order to cater to the students teachers have to work hard to try and meet the needs of all their students to promote free, equal access to quality education. Therefore knowledge, skill, beliefs and attitudes are important for understanding and improving educational
Education is an ever-changing part of society. A classroom teacher is faced with new challenges and obstacles that have never been dealt with before. Students come to the classroom with different life stories. Every student has strengths and weaknesses that surface in the classroom environment. Teachers must understand and focus on utilizing each student's strengths and work to improve weaknesses. Students learn in a variety of ways. The classroom must be a safe zone that appreciates student's viewpoints and allows room for mistakes. When topics in the classroom are related to "real-life" experiences, the information is more likely to be retained. Students learn from one another. The ideas and perspectives that each student brings to the classroom can bring insight into what is being learned. Students have to be allowed to explore new ideas, try them to see if they work, and sometimes fail. When students are encouraged to explore, they begin the process of becoming lifelong learners.
I would not be considered your typical college student in search of an education degree. I am a 31 year old male, married, with two children, and working on my second career. My previous life consisted of working in the coal mines till I was injured. My injury, however, is considered a blessing in disguise. My injury has leaded me to the world of education.
Teachers should base their curriculum on their students needs and interests. I believe that there are many conditions that are needed to help enhance learning for students. Children are able to learn better when they are in a positive and comfortable environment. Classrooms should be a place where children can learn and have social interactions without feeling intimidated. By believing students are most important helps teachers create an atmosphere that allows students to understand the magnitude of learning.
My perspective as a teacher is that each student is unique and different in every way, which needs a nourishing, loving, caring and secure environment to grow and implement his/her, learning practices. Each student has the right to learn and teacher can act as a promoter. The environment of the class should be suitable for the students to grow and nourish.
A teacher must understand how students learn and develop and must provide learning opportunities that support a student’s intellectual, social and personal development.
