Introduction

This paper is supposed to be a reflection of my past and a glimpse into my future. I have a really hard time talking about my past because I don’t recall much of my child hood. I have managed to block out a lot of the memories the bad along with the good. I am not sure why but when I started blocking memories it also took the good along with the bad. So I will tell you what I can remember and what I have been told about my childhood. I will also tell you what my future holds for me and how I plan to reach that goal.

Body
I was born in Spokane Washington and lived my first three years on a reservation with my mother and my father. When I was three I also started my modeling career until I was fourteen. When I was four my mother remarried and her husband she was with adopted me she was with him until I was five or six. The pieces I do remember from this time were not ones I care to speak about; they still haunt my dreams. I can tell you I was scared of him and still have a hard time speaking to him still today. When I was ten my mother moved me to Portland Oregon for a year. She then decided to move my sister and me to Southern Idaho to keep me out of trouble. She said Portland was no place for a soon to be teenager to grow up. Had she known then what she knows now I think she would have kept me in Portland. I do not remember a lot of the details of my life until I moved to the little town of Filer, located about 160 miles south of Boise Idaho.

As I stated previously my mother moved us to Southern Idaho to keep me out of trouble. I was a rebellious teenager who would not listen to anyone. I would not be the person I am today if I would have listened. It was in Filer that I found out what bor...

Essay about Macbeth : The Past, Present And Future

- The Passion of Macbeth: The Past, Present and Future In Macbeth, Shakespeare examines the significance of time in the form of one’s present and future through the unfortunate character of Macbeth. Macbeth is an ordinary soldier, loyal to the king as the Thane of Glamis, prior to his meeting with the three witches. The three witches reveal to Macbeth his future “All, hail Macbeth. Hail to three, Thane of Cawdor. All, hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!” (1.3. 49-50). For the most part one does not know his or her own future....   [tags: Macbeth, Future, Time, Past, Present, Macbeth]

Essay on The Ontological Question Of Reality Of The Past, Present And Future

- Philosophers are divided on the ontological question of the reality of the past, present and future. While nearly all contemporary philosophers agree that the present time exists, there has been substantial disagreement over the existence of the past and future. In this essay I will argue that it is not that case that only the present time exists. I will argue that conclusion by discussing the ideas put forward by Presentists. This will then be contrasted with the ideas given by Eternalists, with a brief look at the Growing Block Theory....   [tags: Time, Future, Present, Past]

Life Lessons in Yulisa Amadu Maddy’s No Past, No Present, No Future Essay

- Life Lessons in Yulisa Amadu Maddy’s No Past, No Present, No Future An age-old cliché states that one really never appreciates what he or she has until it is gone. Does this mean that nobody has ever truly appreciated the gift of life while living. Such an assumption cannot easily be made because no one can truly know the experiences or feelings. One can only try to understand by relating it to personal experience. On the other hand, this cliché would seem to explain the changes that people undergo as a result of a close brush with death....   [tags: Death Maddy No Past Present Future Essays]

T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land and Yulisa Maddy’s No Past No Present No Future

- Death and Dying in T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land and Yulisa Maddy’s No Past No Present No Future I am immortal. Although I realize that I will die, I don’t believe it. The fear of death motivates me to ignore my mortality and, in motivating me to ignore, allows me to live a jaded, happy life. If death were a predominant thought, then appreciating life would seem difficult—unless of course I changed my name to Harold. Everyone confronts the idea of death sooner or later; different people just deal with death in different ways....   [tags: Eliot Wasteland Maddy Future Present Past Essays]

- Computers: Past, Present and Future Since the time when man first learned to express how they felt in written form, by drawing or writing, we have tried to communicate with other people. First, it was the prehistoric man with their conceptual cave drawings showing what animals to hunt, how to hunt them, and how to cook them. Soon that form took to hieroglyphics, in which the Egyptians would tell stories about battles they had won and about new pharaohs that had been born. Technology: Past, Present, and Future Essay examples

- Technology: Past, Present, and Future Remember the days of the Old West. The women walked around with their parasols or rode in a horse drawn carriage and the men rode fast and furious on their horses. Everything you needed was right there in town: the saloon, the general store, and the barber. When one needed to get somewhere, they would walk. If they needed to travel far, there were steam-powered locomotives. As towns and cities grew larger, it was not so convenient to walk everywhere. In my paper, instead of focusing primarily on the impending war with Iraq, I will focus on why we are continually in a conflict with Iraq (and other Middle Eastern countries) through investigating the past, present and future of Iraq’s history.
