Efficient Teaching Techniques for Enhanced Learning

Throughout my learning in school, I’ve learned that there are multitude of ways teachers teach and most of them have their own style, but to some there may be certain techniques that every teacher uses that are terrific or awful. There are numerous ways to improve the tasks given to students: Hands-on learning, having dialogue with the students one-on-one if needed, and games can help learning. Each person is different in their own individual way to learn, but I personally believe that these could improve my education the most. To start my learning experience off right, I would love for teachers to do more hands-on learning in classrooms where it is needed because most learn from doing and not just writing down notes that most people don …show more content…

Me personally, I am passionate about video games, so if there was a technique that involved games in anyway, it would make me ecstatic. Video games can teach us so much by solving puzzles, reaction times, and many more things. There is some violence in video games, but it’s nothing we can 't get past in school for the sake of learning. An example of using video games as a technique for learning would be the game Minecraft. By using this game in a construction class, that deal with blueprints we could lay out our designs on this game and build astonishing buildings that could actually help with the real world building because you have to have a substantial imagination in order to do some of the great things you can do in this game. Games whether they are on a computer or a board game can teach us a lot. Monopoly teaches us the basics of money and how to handle it, so if an economics or a resource management class wanted to incorporate this game in our lesson more students might learn more from this method over an hour lecture about money. Video gaming is the one thing that interest me the most and if it can be incorporated in school as a teaching method, I’m all go for
