Recommended: The history of the development of computers

My Journey to the Tablet I attended a field trip to the blockhouse at Luke AFB, Arizona. I was introduced to the SAGE Computer. I was immediately entranced by this complex piece of machinery made up of numerous parts and spanning several rooms. I couldn’t grasp exactly how this computer ran off vacuum tubes and relays. I recognized that the electronic computer would be the defining technology of my generation. I decided to learn more and be immersed in this world. I was a female in the 1980’s so we were discouraged from science, math and engineering. I took coding classes anyway and hated it due to the complexity of the code. Today, I am building web pages, apps and using HTML and CSS. I can’t imagine life without computers? Can you? We use computers everywhere for work, studying, shopping, entertainment, and to communicate with everyone. Computers have evolved from giant behemoths owned by the government to home computers owned by anyone. How? Technological advances in microprocessors located inside computers. Think about the automobile you drive, the refrigerator, Gameboy, IPod, tablet, or smart phone. These all have microprocessors that quietly gather data, control processes, and communicate between components. Computers are everywhere. But where did they come from? This question is surprisingly difficult to answer. Population growth, economic expansion, and the rise of powerful nations created new demands for information processing techniques and technologies. In the United States innovations in communication and transportation allowed for the development of large national corporations whose insatiable demand for data prompted numerous innovations in information technology. Since a tablet has a large screen, it's perfect for streaming movies and TV shows. You can also find games to play. I have wasted many hours playing candy crush. Purchasing additional apps gives your device a whole new level of functionality. What do you love? Bet there is an app for it. You can customize your computer as well, installing apps on a tablet is a simple process. You don't have to deal with product keys or registration codes. Apps download and install in seconds. I prefer carrying around a tablet as opposed to a laptop is the superior battery life. My laptop battery lasts for 2.5 hours before I have to recharge. My phone needs charging a minimum of twice a day. My tablet is good for almost a full day with heavy use. My Kindle tablet uses are unlimited which is what makes this so unique.
