Imagine it is one’s first day in high school; erect in front of them are the entrance to their fresh school life, now once one opens those doors to their fresh school life, there must be, at minimum, thousands of questions and thoughts coming to their mind; what does one expect of themselves getting into a life such as this? Some of those beliefs may go along the lines of, “I hope I meet many of my friends this year.” “This school year is going to be subsequently much tougher than any of my school years I have ever been in before.” The list just goes on and on from there. I, too, also assumed as much my first day of high school, but was what I expected what I truly acquired?
I guess the superior question from one who is expecting anything at all is, “Will my predictions meet with actuality and come together impeccably, or will it all become downright different, and if so, turn out notable or resentful?” Humorous as it is, in life, in a general sense; we can all persist in assuming things and contemplate if we will acquire them, but every now and then life gives us many surprises, we can’t help but become astonished. This is the revelation of how my first you of high school became a rather wondrous journey.
Looking back, how I ever acquired to where I am in high school is wild and crazy. From the very first day of my high school year, and even now, I am still admiring how my assumptions of what were to happen and reality was rather different, in fact, it was a rather jaw dropping adventure in my case. The more expectations I made, the more surprises life presented to me.
It all begins with waking up on September the eighth, the day after Labor Day. I hardly snoozed at all, the day before; incidentally, I felt insecure about...

...e, but alas, I was the only one in my school who established that reward; so, when I claimed it I felt all awkward, but I was content cause I felt extraordinary too. By the end of the year I felt successful and ready to take on a fresh chapter of high school.
So, there you have it, my first year of high school in a nutshell; I managed to endure my entire first year little to no problem at all. These days I still find some troubles from school work and finding a way to have fun while doing it, but with the help of my teachers and friends I can do anything I can set my mind on. Without them, I would find myself in profound distress and dreading school for the rest of my life. Life does things in mysterious way, some expected and some not, I am just cheerful that what life gave me was the things I would have just thought impossible, and in the impossible became reality.

My First Day Of High School Essay examples

- When you think of an academy, you automatically imagine a prestigious, successful, advanced school with high standards. Those were my expectations when I applied for the new Early College Academy at Southridge in Spring Independent School District. And without a doubt I was disappointed at what I actually saw. Early College Academy at Southridge (ECAS) was a school made up of portables in an open and barely protected area. My first day of high school was the worst; it rained, and normal high schools don’t fret over such little matters but my high school didn’t have a roof, which meant that all my brand new school supplies and new clothes got soaked and ruined before I really got to use them...   [tags: High school, University, College]

My First Day Of High School Essay

- Phoebe fell haphazardly into friendship with Allison on the first day of high school. She had been walking confidently in the direction of her next class. Shortly finding herself at the main office, she quickly realized she was completely lost. Unable to recognize a single face in the flocks of students flapping past down the corridor, and left with no other option, she summoned the courage to ask someone for help. Noticing another four-eyed girl, inconvenienced as she was with big stupid glasses on her face, Phoebe spluttered out an awkward, yet enthusiastic greeting, and babbled about directions to the science labs....   [tags: College, High school, Education]

My First Day Of High School Essay

- As I walked through the wide double doors of a new school, I knew a thrilling adventure was ahead of me. The school pride shined brightly across the blue and gold colored hallways. Even the people seemed to have a certain school pride surrounding them. Many memories have come and gone in this building but the memory of my first day of high school will forever be a vivid memory in my mind. My brand name outfit and expensive backpack had me feeling as if those halls could be conquered, but with the next few steps the mirrored hallways and mazes of doors began to over whelm me....   [tags: High school, College, Middle school, A New Era]

My First Day Of High School Essay

- Senior Paper As a kid I often wondered what it would be like to be in high school, how I would be and who I would become. I often heard my siblings talking about how great it was, all the freedom they had gained, and all the great classes the school had to offer. It felt like ages before it would be my turn to get lost in the infinite stream of halls and find out who I wanted to become. To my surprise the first day of high school would quickly approach. It feels like just yesterday that the Blackfoot high school counselors were at my middle school giving our eight-grade class a high school orientation and administrating the paper work to apply for our upcoming school year courses....   [tags: High school, Education, Developmental psychology]

My First Day Of High School Essay

- There was a lot of reconnecting for my father once we were settled in. High School friend that he graduated with would stop him in the local Wal-Mart or would call him to say it was nce to hear that he was back. One of which then introduced me to her niece who happened to be the same age as I, Carmen Boley. Carmen and I were alike in many ways: we both played tennis, had a love for cooking, and loved learning. This then gave me someone at school to talk to so I would not be going in completely blind on the first day....   [tags: High school, College, Louisville, Kentucky]

My First Day Of High School Essay

- It was a bright sunny morning on my very first day of high school when I had announced to my best friend Justin that I was going to try out for the school basketball team. We sat at the rectangular lunch table comfortably while he chuckled in disbelief as if he weren’t taking me serious. I proceeded to yell at him in a jokingly matter when I noticed that I was overheard by a group of former basketball players. The group proceeded to walk past our table laughing and pointing fingers just as though an audience would to a comedian during a comic show....   [tags: Basketball, High school, Layup, YMCA]

My First Day At High School Essay

- Imagine it is your first day in high school. Strutting along the wide open doors, we are here in front of the school thinking of what lies ahead from the perspective of a middle school grad. I have mixed emotions as to what to expect. Looking forward to meeting wonderful teachers and friends. There is a lot of questions in each and every one of us, thinking of as to where will our room assignments be, who will be our teachers and how we will get along with our new classmates in school. As I observe the new students around me, I felt they are dragging their feet to get inside because fresh from the happy summer days, they are back to the reality of school homework, projects, reports and test...   [tags: High school, Academic term, College, Year]
