School Experience: My First Day In High School

Imagine it is your first day in high school. Strutting along the wide open doors, we are here in front of the school thinking of what lies ahead from the perspective of a middle school grad. I have mixed emotions as to what to expect. Looking forward to meeting wonderful teachers and friends. There is a lot of questions in each and every one of us, thinking of as to where will our room assignments be, who will be our teachers and how we will get along with our new classmates in school. As I observe the new students around me, I felt they are dragging their feet to get inside because fresh from the happy summer days, they are back to the reality of school homework, projects, reports and tests. I believed it was going to be tedious and mind-numbing, but because one of my friends told me drama would be exciting and enjoyable, and they were right it was a pleasure and I treasured every moment of it. Me and my friends kidded and frolicked around; on the other hand, once it came to performances we became serious and took care of each other when ever and where it was necessary. At the conclusion of the year we celebrated by doing our last performance together. Afterwards, we went to Ihop, where we gossiped and ate delicious
