My Mother: An Influential Person In My Life

I grew up in a very open family. My immediate family has always been a pillar of strength for me. They were supportive of my choices, my passions, and I never felt out of place at home. The most influential person in my life is my mother, she is a resilient, intelligent, and feisty. She has always been my idea of what a lady should be. She was tough, yet very nurturing and sweet. My fondest memories of her reading to me and my sister, her making different voices for each character in the book. She used to read or “act” books to me and my younger sister religiously. It was part of our night time routine, and something to pass the time during the day. My favorite books were by R.L Stine. The Goose bumps collection were my favorite books to hear at the time.
