July 1st 2014, the trip to Europe began. After 20 minutes of trying to books seats on the machines we still didn 't have seats because my mom is technologically challenged, so finally we just went up to the counter and within 10- 15 minutes we had our seats and started to check our luggage. We then walked to our terminal and waited for what seemed like forever to load the plane. We loaded the plan found our seats, started a movie and we were off to our first destination, Paris. We landed in Paris and after getting off the plane my mom went to purchase the tickets for the train to take us further into the city. After the train ride we walked to where we were going to be staying, which was in an apart with a very narrow stair case and 5 levels …show more content…
The next morning we got up took the train to the airport and got on a plane going to Zurich. From Zurich we rented a car, and started on our to Italy. On our way we drove through Germany, where some of my distant relatives live and we stayed with them for a few days. We were in Germany for about a week, and then we hit the road again to continue on our journey to Italy. Italy was beautiful, but we drove everywhere and finding a hotel for 7 people each night was always a time consuming task, but because we didn 't know exactly where we were going to end up in Italy we didn 't book any hotels and rooms ahead of time. Our first destination in Italy was a small town that I can 't remember the name of, but we stayed in a little bed and breakfast for the night. The bed and breakfast had chickens and bunnies and swans just roaming all over the lawn freely and was located right beside a small vineyard, it was so different in comparison to what hotels and bed and breakfasts are like back home. The next morning we got up had some breakfast and started on the road again. This time we landed in a …show more content…
To go to Paris was a dream for me, and that dream came true and I am so grateful for that. Even though I was only there for 3 days I would go back in a heartbeat because there is still so much I haven 't seen that I want to. Italy was amazing and if I 'm being completely honest I was that excited about going until I was actually there. Italy is a beautiful country and I enjoyed the parts we visited but, I would definitely want to see other cities like Rome, Milan, and Tuscany. I strongly encourage everyone to travel at least once, because it exposes you to so many new ideas, and perspectives, and how different the way you live is compared to others as well as the exposure to different
Living in Italy showed me how much I had to be grateful for. I saw firsthand another culture’s day-to-day lifestyle. Italian culture isn’t as fast-paced as American culture. Their slower pace forces you to appreciate a little more of what each day offers. My job was as an Au pair which is a live-in nanny/teacher for the family’s children. Most
First, we packed our bags, then we all said, “goodbye” to all of our family and friends. I was forlorn and wanted to stay. Grandpa and our dog were driving a Uhaul while my mom, dad, sister, brother and I were in the car. I was young, so I slept most of the time, I slept in the car and we stopped at hotels every night.
We went to New Mexico for a week to build a playground. The trip was long and hot but it was worth it. The playground was going to be built at a Manuelito Najavo Childrens Home in Gallup, New Mexico. In the middle of their dorms. We arrived at a cottage and starting unpacking, choosing rooms, and all that. Dinner came, we all took showers and went to bed.
Only my parents knew what the house looked like as for us it was the first time we saw it. I remember how late at night it was when we arrived and how badly my siblings and I wanted to run around and explore. But instead all we did was fall asleep on a couple of mattresses and awaited for the next morning. When we woke up you begin to unpack the truck instead of ourselves in.
My destinations were simple: the hospital I was born in, my grandfather's restaurant, and my grandparent's house. My first location was Especialidades
My most memorable trip of my life was when I first moved to the United States in 2008. I was eight years old when I moved from the small city of HaIfa in Israel to the big bay area. Israel can fit into just California about 20 times! I moved here wIth my mom ,dad ,older brother ,and younger sIster. There were many big obstacles and trips my famIly knew we had to take in order to feel more comfortable and at home here In the United States.

Our travels took us to other countries like Germany, Luxemburg, Italy, France, the Netherlands and more. I saw the restaurants filled with people and the delicious colorful treats behind
...resting and wonderful. I had the opportunity to do and see things others may never have the chance to see. I feel very fortunate for having this opportunity. The differences and similarities in architecture and in paintings were a pleasure to witness. I enjoyed the culinary art of each of these countries as well. The way the food was presented was very artistic, almost like it is a painting. The streets themselves were works of art with the way all the cobblestones were placed. The art experienced on this trip was very insightful, it helped me to understand the different art styles of people and time eras. I feel very lucky to have had the chance to see some of the places where history was made. I feel changed for the better having been on this journey.

In the words of Giuseppe Verdi, “You may have the universe if I may have Italy” (Brainyquote.com). Italy is one of the top hotspots for vacation, and there is a plethora of reasons why. Immediately upon arriving, you can smell the aroma of fresh, home-made foods. The beauty of the architecture in even the average buildings is overwhelming. The culture is unique and fascinating; unlike anything you will ever see anywhere else. There are so many places you could visit in Italy, you could spend a lifetime there, and it would never be enough. Rome, Tuscany, Pompeii, Pisa, Florence, and Venice are must-sees, to name just a handful. (http://www.kids-world-travel-guide.com) Italy is in essence, a paradise unlike any other, that everyone should have the privilege of enjoying. (pathos)
One of my greatest hobbies is travelling the globe and I love to see new places. I enjoy experiencing new environment and culture. There are many countries to visit around the world and each country has something unique to offer. In every country, there are many beautiful places to see and tradition to learn. However, the country I have always wanted to visit is Italy. Italy is located in Europe and it is famous for its ancient history, architectural heritage, culture and even food. It is my dream to visit Italy with my family one day.
Paris is one of my dream places because of all the exciting things found there. One of the exciting things I would like to do is to go sightseeing all around the city. The next thing I would like to do is visit the eiffel tower. Lastly, I would like to experience a new culture and try new foods while I’m there. In the end, if I could travel anywhere in the world, I would pick
My most memorable family vacation took place two years ago. We went to Corsica, a French island situated in the south of France right next to Italy. I remembered waking up early excited to visit this new land. Used to take long flights, I was surprised to arrive to the destination after a one-hour flight. Even though the flight was short for me, it was stressful for my mom, she has never felt secured in a plane, probably due to the fact that she is afraid of height. When finally arrived at the destination, the dry and warm weather was there to welcome us. We all felt relief, and knew that this was the beginning of the summer. Excited, we had a lot of activities planned for the few weeks, me and my father could not wait to dive in the clear
Taking that flight was nothing like the flights I’ve taken before. I had just recently celebrated my fourteenth birthday a week before being told that we were taking a trip. My dad wanted to surprise me for keeping up good grades in school. With my father working in the military and knowing a lot about other countries, I couldn’t have asked for a better gift. Went
